You're going to want at least a 4 by 4 bud. You're going to need a 2 by 2 for each plant in a hydro that big. The roots are going to explode in the 6 gallon pots just remember they're going to grow 10 times faster than they normally will so when you go to flower you're going to want a flower early so they stretch like crazy just remember you're not going to have that much space. It's a mistake most people make they worried about heat and all that other stuff but they don't ever think about how big that plants actually going to get and it gets there very quickly just make sure your trellis is set up before you go to flower you want to you want to start training that before you know right before flower
See this is why I had to make this video cause I was thinking that to I might need a whole 4x4 I didn't wanna do that but I guess I can I think ur right I think the 2x4 is gonna be a little to small

Yea, on second thought, you should probably put them in a 4x4, since most of your plants are kinda big/tall.. They're gonna explode and you're gonna run out of space.. It Would be smart to get a proper net, to help you spread the rapid growth.. 🙂👊
I'd say 2x4 is way doable if you can run the cooler and pumps outside the tent. Those buckets are big but they are also the res.
I was thinking of getting exact set up but I heard that it's not a good idea to put different strains in a rdwc system
Hi from the uk! I've been exclusively running RDWC for over 14 years now and that system looks sound. I'd swap out those neoprene pucks for an appropriate sized net pot and clay pebbles as your plants will be far sturdier. To get a feel for your new system and it's nuances a 4 x 2 will teach you so much and also affirm what you already learned previously. After getting nice and sharp you could run a single planter in a 4x4 and the same in another so two plants, two tents and one reservoir and I promise you you'll know it right out of the park! Happy day's. 👊

Interesting video Ribby dude. I've never attempted to grow hydro. Been growing in soil since the mid-70s. Old habits are hard to kick. Those buckets are every bit of 7.5 gallons. You do live by the saying go big or go home! Can't wait for this wet, wonderful, wild journey into the world of hydroponics. RIBBY I saw a review you did a little while ago on the spider framer 6inch fan so I decided to get one and I can’t believe how quite it is virtually no noise what a fan it is I love it 😊
Hell yea nice my friend be careful with the stress on the cord I had one mess up allready but no matter what brand you get you always have that risk

I'm using a diy dwc in 2 5 gallon using 2 airstones in each in a spider farmer oversize 2x4 it seems to be working fine. its in the basement so water temp stays right between 67 to 70. I can't wait to see you get that thing going. thanks for the content

definitely use a 4x4 or 5x5 tent for those bad boys. But if you only use one at a time, a 3x3/2x2 would work fine. So excited to potentially see a grow in those!!

Hey Ribby_boy congrats on going hydroponic I love it because plants grow faster, and little too no pest problems . My advice to you would be use at least a 4×4 tent for two large plants, always keep ph in check around 5.8. Also I would like to see you use Crop Salts nutrients I've used others but with Crop Salts I've had no deficiencies, also no Cal mag needed. Best of luck to you Ribby_boy I'll definitely be watching to see how you progress you got this!!! And as longas you keep water Temps 75 degrees or below you will fine, also peroxide 3 percent one cap per 2 gallon peace out.

Excited to see this in action, it was a contender when I started dwc. 2x4 is probably best. I can run 3 hydrobucket in a 3x3, but they are smaller buckets. Love all the hard work man💪💪

Ribby I’m saying do them in a 5x5 with a long veg until they max out then flip them, have a chiller on hand in case you run into any root issues etc, would be awesome to see some huge plants with rapid growth just exploding man! Keep em coming bro!

I reckon you should definitely go with your suggestion of the 2 by 4 tent and by the window but couldn't you even get started sooner? Or have you not got the room yet? Spider farmer makes an oversized 2x4 that’s 80” tall, 54” wide, and 28” deep. That might be a good fit for those.

That's awesome. Kind of like the one I built, but mine sits on top of a second reservoir. I wish they'd make larger buckets. They say 8 gallons but generally you can only use half that in practice. That's so little for a giant DWC plant.

If you go on the greenhouse seeds channel they have some really old comparison grows between soil and hydro. From watching that i would say you need to cut your veg time right back if you go for the 2x4.

Maxi-Grow and Maxi-Bloom would be awesome with this setup I bet. I gotta use ph up with them on my well water if I use more than half tsp a gal. Also got bacteria that slime hydroponics so I got to use Organic Fungicidefor a dwc set-up if i did one. I trust only Maxi series that does not use phosphoric acid ph down nothing to back that up tho. I think the sulfur makes it safe as a ph down which is natural i believe like rain water. I try to keep it ol natural as much as i can. The maxi series I don't find any off flavor from the buds at all. I was able to use ph drops it didn't interfere with them the Maxi Stuff. Simple Fire nutrient line.
I should go with that I got maxi grow I just meed maxibloom I got lots of general hydroponics 3 part left though but I use to use maxibloom like mad it's cheap and works

You can't go through the floor it's concrete lol it's an apartment building and it drives me nuts to bro I've almost fallen cause of it but I ain't putting money into this dump the goal is to build this channel big enough to be able to rent a house for 2500 a month cause that's what it is here its insane but I need one bad I will Have my dad with me to so it won't cost me the whole amount but I got to grow this channel bigger and then If I get a house bro oh man the videos I can make will be so much better

It's really high quality I was talking to the owner and he said he put so so much money into a whole design team and vigorous testing hundreds of thousands of dollars to get this right so it's top of the line im pretty sure there cheap to compared to some

This is gonna be an awesome chapter, you won't regret it 😃.Just give them a lot of oxygen to the roots, there's a big difference if they have enough air in the water.. Also might be smart, not to breed too much microbe life in the water, cos then microbes regulate the PH.. Best to keep it semi sterile, not too warm and with a lot of oxygen.. Can't wait to see you grow some monsters😅. Use the 2x4 one on each side, that would be nice, you might need a chiller, since you're gonna be putting in a lot of warm air from the air pumps.. The stronger ones get hot when they run on max.. Make it perfect for the ladies.. 😇

@RIBBY_BOY yeh I run 1 dwc in my 3x3 and fill it from corner to corner . I veg for a bit longer but it pays off in long run , I yeild just over a lb from single plant

@@RIBBY_BOY I did it in college and it was cheap AF on the fly materials and the weed was on point. I was very popular for doing so. What is funny is I went to an all girls private catholic college…lol. The nuns had no idea what I was growing. They just thought it was an interesting project that I said was for biology class….lol.
