I like the verse you picked out. It makes me wonder why is it so hard for us to exercise faith and just put things in the Lord’s hands and just trust Him?
Joseph was an exceptional man. Sure he made a few mistakes, but he learned from those mistakes. If I was given his responsibility, I probably would have fell into every temptation and made the same mistakes multiple times. Nonetheless, I feel the point of the whole incident was for Joseph to learn, to become what Heavenly Father needed him to be.
I think there’s a good chance that the Lord is not talking about Martin Harris when he mentions a wicked man. He could be talking about the person the Martins wife gave the manuscript to. Just a thought. But he could be talking about Martin who was being wicked in a sense at that time. Not really sure.
