Yep, I'm at the point where I might just stop rematching Clive on ranked until he's nerfed. I've never been one to not rematch people over their character but this is just ludicrous. Clive's F 1+2 is a hacks button. That move just totally kills any neutral play. (Basically homing, mid, hits from range 1 billion, heat engager, launcher in heat). All that, and its freaking safe on block. All you get as his opponent is your turn back, not even a punish. And when he's not keeping you out with F 1+2 he's just teleporting in your face with a 50/50 Totally brain-dead, overpowered character that forces you to play 2D at all ranges - Fucking disgusting.
Clive is ruining this game for me, he's WAY too overtuned, it's actually insane. Just play with Kazuya against this character. You'll quickly realize how dumb this character is

He definitely is, B1+2 is almost unpunishable online even if it's - 14 tried to 12 frame punish. Had to side step slightly to do it cause of the push back. A move like F1+2 should be hella slow if it's homing
That f1+2 kills neutral play - a common trend I see in T8 characters. Playing Paul against Clive feels like a massive uphill battle. I can't even be mad at the player, they look like they're grasping the beat way to play him. I expect more PHX stance mixups though.

You can powercrush f1+2, But it's definitely still not in your favour and you need to be a good distance away so pc the 2nd hit atleast, you can pc both hits but it's rarer and much more difficult, I wouldn't even recommend doing it up close. Either way for this to be the counter play and the only counter play it sucks ass. Ridiculous 'solution' to an 'aggressive' game-state that you can't even aggress on this character. Either remove the tracking from f1+2 or make it at minimum -13.
