I was actually there (both performance 3 & 4), and recorded/leaked early audio recordings of the set to file sharing sites at the time, if anyone has any questions or anything?
I was at this show, and it was incredible. John and company did some "performance shows" that month in half at the Knitting factory and around the southland. Good memories.
oh crap, this is the video I edited together back in 2004. There was one other songs I edited not on here. I did not shoot these two videos. ENJOY!!! More in the archives!
when i was 15 i got to open for joe lally’s band the messthetics, amazing experience. the day i got my first bass i learned all of his ataxia basslines.
Oh Lord! This is the show I missed out! I lived in San Bernardino, CA at the time and it was stormy this night in Berdoo. I invited my good friend and my daughter. We were in our way out but my friend's boyfriend did a sort of cock block and wouldn't let her go. I'm so glad this show is available to watch ❤️❤️❤️

I've been asking for years what kind of effect john is using on the track dust, is that a tremolo or a tremolo combined with a phaser?🤔Need some help on this
Not that I rate any of the post stadium arcadium chilis albums but seeing as Josh was in the band before John left why'd they have to kick him out now? Couldn't he just go back to be being the understudy/touring guitarist like before. He seems kinda shook up in interviews :/
Going from a full member back to a backing musician wouldnt be fair to someone as talented as josh though. Hes 40 years old, being an understudy would be silly.
That year JF made 5 records...
Man if I only knew who he was in 2004... probably would've started playing guitar a couple years earlier
He is beyond human
I guess it's kind of off topic but do anyone know of a good place to stream new movies online ?
@Raphael Aryan try FlixZone. You can find it by googling :)
@@Xavier315 same.
John’s vocal ability is amazing. That guttural scream and his hauntingly beautiful falsetto never ceases to amaze me
Which minute?
Man, Shout-out to Josh for the drums on 'The Sides' :-)
I just listen to this album for the first time in 16 years, shout out to Josh on drums. This shit was Magicical
I hope they whill make music togheter someday in the future. Their music comforts me in a unique wat.
Life is unfair. When this show happened I was 5 years old and I wasn’t aware of the existence of Frusciante. Lucky bastards

Whoa!!! Josh killin it on the drums!
I really love that drum intro (9:50) Josh played on The Sides, those little pauses on the hi-hat hits makes it sound amazing
Wow Josh play the drums in an impressive way!!! sounds so fucking good!

I loved the first Ataxia album! John should do more progressive rock!
new wave/post punk not progressive rock
I would give an arm to see this live.
Fantastic tone on Fru's guit

Raisa Cherry you & me both 😃 in Frusciante heaven!
Cool. Often wondered about the gear used on these records
So good. Great albums.
Watch his right hand at 8:50. Pretty amazing to strum that quickly and cleanly using wrist only.
Its like he dont even feel the resistance of the strings
Everything its in his right hand
How did I not know about this video years ago, it's out of me
Thanks for the upload

Essa live de ataxia é maravilhosa que delícia ❤️
Dust rips SO fucking hard
Thanks for uploading!
Hope John & Josh reunite

Joe Lally?! Wow. I didn't realize they collaborated but knew that Flea is all about Fugazi.
Ian Mackaye produced John Fruscainte’s “DC EP” and John used Guy’s guitar rig for some of the songs.
I love "Dust"
