- A group of us as friends went to Azul Beach Resort in Negril, Jamaica for the weekend to celebrate mine and Debbie's birthday.
From the first encounter to the last. minute.. it was MY ABSOLUTE worst hotel experience. Definitely on my NEVER TO RETURN list!
I've resort hopped all over Jamaica and Azul after years of staying at every resort between Montego Bay and Ochios and if you want good water you have to stay someone on 7 miles... For me Azul was amazing... The staff was and is always nice and accommodating
Room looks fine to me.
Did I hear right? It was 5 minutes past 9:00 and they were headed to their 8:30 reservation?
Went here this past July. We enjoyed ourselves and everyone was friendly and helpful. Food was average but certainly not the worst place I’ve visited. Everyone experience is different. We’re going back to Azul this summer and taking family and friends 😊.

Im at this resort at the time of this post and this review is very accurate. Did not give us the room on the floor requested when reservation was made. There follow-up to fixing issues is subpar even paying for premuim room. We got downgraded to a worst room when asked to change and waited 3 days fir that to happen, even though at time of checking we were told we would only need to stay in the first room for one day. Felt lied to. WTF!!! Never coming back and I DO NOT recommend this resort. I blame the owners because they have failed to put money back into the resort. They leave their employees to deal with the myriad of problems that occur. ill-equipped or absent leadership. Most boring resort EVER and I've visited several in Jamaica. Entertainment is basic and antiquated. Training is needed for better customer satisfaction
I haven’t been there yet but thinking about it honestly want to book it and I’ve seen other UA-cam videos and your bathroom is by far the first I’ve seen so small all the other ones I’ve seen has a double sink with even the fridge stocked. I want one of the swim up suites I do hope it’s nothing like what you got lol
I just left this resort and everything you’re saying is accurate. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The food was horrible lacked seasoning and very much caters to the Americans and English people dem. Every meal it seemed like dem wan serve french fries, pure crosses. The wait in the heat before getting into our so called premium room took what seemed like forever. Not to mention it would be nice to let people know that the bus would’ve took almost 2 hours and change from Montego Bay to Negril just fi reach the resort. Lawd God some of the yardie dem need fi really work pon dem manners mi nah say all weren’t nice because majority of di people dem was very nice and hav manners. I will never go to this resort again. The couch in our room had a stain there were cracks in the wall nothing too major. The experience could’ve been way better but it definitely is a lesson for me.
What room category did you stay in?
Honestly I don’t know but it surely ain’t the privilege 🤣🤣. It was the regular shumegular part. (Only rooms that were available at the time) but Also a valid point.
ITS NOT, I STAYED AT SANDALS MULTIPLE TIMES N WE WALKED PASSED THAT PLACE WITH OUR NOSE UP

Was planning on going there for my Anniversary smh thank you for this vlog Jody.
Didn't seem that bad to me things happen. I wonder was this before the covid requirements were lifted. Im going in Oct so we shall see and i'm a travel agent so I've experienced a lot in many different countries! The best of the best hotels has hiccups. The entertainment looks nice though.
Hey Latoya! Everyone's experience might be not be the same but for me it was MY worst experience. Yours might be different, watch some more reviews and then make your decision.
@@lashyrachanel Definitely everywhere has hiccups, but I guess this is just my worst experience. The defining moment for me was that there was no urgency to assist us when we reported a stolen item within minutes of it being taken. Even to this day, we are still waiting on a call from the manager, after they are through watching the footage.
@@JodiannGayle how long does it take to watch footage. That’s crazy that y’all are still waiting it’s obviously not on their to do list and that’s not okay! Are you guys emailing them?
@@lashyrachanel We have given up on that. Again, based on the interaction I didn’t expect much.
We have since replaced the test glasses and identification cards that’s were in the purse.
I’m just grateful my car keys and any other essential items were not in the purse on that morning. Sigh
Any better resorts in negril?
Definitely...There are several with good reviews. Unfortunately this was my first and only all inclusive Negril stay.

No. I went n it is pretty decent. I got a room I didn’t like n I simply asked for another room. Staff was amiable
Lies lies lies just came back today and trust me it was great ! some people have disgusting attitude and will never ever get good treatment especially if they have nasty attitude
