It happens when you're with a native speaker of your own language but you both live in another country, it's fascinating but it kinda makes sense. They use korean everyday, so probably their brain isn't set on English, and the fact that they're in the same situation makes them comfortable enough to switch whenever they want, which is amazing! I love that they can just relax and talk however they want and express themeselves truthfully

You know, I used to think the reason Felix is so precious to Chan is just because of a sense of kinship due to being from the same country. But I think it's more than that. Chan gave up everything to chase his dream in Korea. He gave up his home. I think when Felix showed up, he felt a little bit like home to Chan, and he needed that. That's why he's a little more attached to him than the others.
I think so too. The way he talks about Felix, is them same way I think about my younger sister. She is my definition of home, Chan's is Felix. Just like Chan I too dream of living with her again later on in life. I don't know If she has the same dream, but it doesn't matter. The elder is supposed to love the young one more, just like with Chan and Felix.
I also think like he acted like how Jessica was to Krystal or how Moonbin was to Sua. Older siblings who debuted first (for Chan's case he lived and trained there first), older siblings who their younger siblings look up to and depend on, older siblings who give critical feedback to their younger siblings as artists but at the same time feel like they have to protect from things they can avoid their younger siblings might experience badly or like be that layer of barrier in a sense from the industry. ❤ I can't explain it precisely but if you get then you get it. 😂

When I saw Bangchan's writing to Felix at the end of this video, the phrase, "I'll never leave you" just brought tears to my eyes. He has kept his word since the survival episode, when he said to Felix, "I'll never leave you yea? I'll always be there for you" when Felix got eliminated. This just shows how much they love each other and its just so heartwarming to see that 💕😭
As an Aussie myself I can see how they are losing the ability to speak English naturally though as their brain merges between Hungal and English all of the time. It must be really hard to do. Jake from Enyphen now does the same and now finds speaking in Hungal more easier.

People commenting about why Felix doesn’t seem as affectionate or cute with Chan. My take on it is that because they’re Aussies the age difference doesn’t matter and they can act like equal friends. It also seems Felix is more mature with Chan because Chan relies on him a lot. With other member Felix is a bit more extra but with Chan he can be chill. If you look at their body language, it’s open, nothing is crossed which means they feel safe and comfortable. Also I think Felix is keeping his posture straight as I think his back is still not great here.

I know what you mean. I don't have any siblings, but most of my neighbors do. I basically raised and watched them grow up as I was the oldest out of all of us. They act the same way you described Chan and Felix’s relationship with each other.

not everything is salvageable footage. there must be moments where they don't know how to change the topic or make conversation and it becomes a little awkward and the director/staff would need to redirect the conversation to keep filming, so an entire session might be 1hr+, but the usable footage they get out of it can be only 15 or so minutes.

i feel like felix being not very clingy and affectionate to chan is kinda his strategy to show that chan can rely on him, that he’s trustworthy and chan doesn’t have to take care of him or see him like a kid. i feel like he perceives the weight that chan carries on his shoulders and doesn’t want to be a burden. but felix is human too, and it seems like he’s a very sentimental one, so he can’t help to seek for chan when he needs to - like when he cried at chan’s shoulder for a while during the recent concert. anyways that’s just my point of view, i don’t really know them (none of us do) and i may be totally wrong hehe

At first it seemed like Felix was uncomfortable or didn't want to talk much, but after watching the video and really understanding more about that relationship(plus reading the comments) it'd more like Felix is showing more maturity, reliability and growth with Chan because they're literally like brother outside the Koren spectrum of things. This episode of 2 Kids Room is one of the most heartwarming episodes ever. Just knowing these two already I figured it would be an episode like this. These two have a special, very special bond. They are always there for each other, really, the love they have for each other is immaculate. It's a trusting, safe bond. They know they can rely on each other whenever, knowing the other would catch them if they fall, and would protect them. These are true brothers, true soulmates, I think it's even something beyond that. It is just so special. These two are the most wholesome people ever. I can't believe that such good-natured human beings exist on this planet, but they really prove the contrary. Honestly, I hope for them to continue their bond like this for as long as possible. They make each other happy, they make each other feel safe, they make each other feel understood. Whether that is because they went through the same or whether that is just how their relationship is, it is beautiful. And definitely unbreakable. Even when he acted little silly and even shy about saying “we love you” with Jisung and Minho at the end, Changbin realized how needed it was for them to say that because of how filled with love both Chan and Felix are!
I think it's more like Felix has learned to control his emotions more. He's still an emotional person so sometimes emotions overflow but I think he means that he's learned how to manage them better, that's why Chan called him mature. I'm emotional as well, and ever since I was a kid it took me some time to learn how to properly manage my emotions. That's just my take on it.
I saw many comments about felix being 'odd' with chan. But i feel, it just their dynamic. Like chan said, they don't have to lovey dovey to show their relationship. I feel they closer offcam. We don't know anything behind the scenes, so just enjoy what they want to show us..

You know, I used to think the reason Felix is so precious to Chan is just because of a sense of kinship due to being from the same country. But I think it's more than that. Chan gave up everything to chase his dream in Korea. He gave up his home. I think when Felix showed up, he felt a little bit like home to Chan, and he needed that. That's why he's a little more attached to him than the others.

People commenting about why Felix doesn’t seem as affectionate or cute with Chan. My take on it is that because they’re Aussies the age difference doesn’t matter and they can act like equal friends. It also seems Felix is more mature with Chan because Chan relies on him a lot. With other member Felix is a bit more extra but with Chan he can be chill. If you look at their body language, it’s open, nothing is crossed which means they feel safe and comfortable. Also I think Felix is keeping his posture straight as I think his back is still not great here.

chan is *so* much more relaxed in this video? like he either acts super cutesy (which i adore) or is a bit reserved and talks about everyone but himself (also adore) but he seems.....very relaxed here? like he can be 'bang chan' and also 'christopher'. like he doesnt feel he needs to play a role or anything like he does with the others? like i think with felix he's the most himself. same with felix tbh. the vibe they give off is that they can be really, really chill with each other. it speaks to how comfy they feel with each other. yeah we'd all love more cuddles between them but i think it just shows that they can be totally at ease and not worry about coming across as cold or anything! no misunderstandings! idk just my thoughts. and outside of this ep, its clear how much they love and rely on each other. i think skinship actually might be *way* more meaningful between them than with others *because* they dont do it very often with each other where we can see it. ok im gonna end this essay lol.

This episode of 2 Kids Room is one of the most heartwarming episodes ever. Just knowing these two already I figured it would be an episode like this. These two have a special, very special bond. They are always there for each other, really, the love they have for each other is immaculate. It's a trusting, safe bond. They know they can rely on each other whenever, knowing the other would catch them if they fall, and would protect them. These are true brothers, true soulmates, I think it's even something beyond that. It is just so special. These two are the most wholesome people ever. I can't believe that such good-natured human beings exist on this planet, but they really prove the contrary. Honestly, I hope for them to continue their bond like this for as long as possible. They make each other happy, they make each other feel safe, they make each other feel understood. Whether that is because they went through the same or whether that is just how their relationship is, it is beautiful. And definitely unbreakable. I hope the two of you continue to protect each other, and love each other like you guys do now. May the two of you continue on this tough, but beautiful journey together. I think it's more like Felix has learned to control his emotions more. He's still an emotional person so sometimes emotions overflow but I think he means that he's learned how to manage them better, that's why Chan called him mature. I'm emotional as well, and ever since I was a kid it took me some time to learn how to properly manage my emotions. That's just my take on it.
I saw many comments about felix being 'odd' with chan. But i feel, it just their dynamic. Like chan said, they don't have to lovey dovey to show their relationship. I feel they closer offcam. We don't know anything behind the scenes, so just enjoy what they want to show us..
