To whoever is reading this now: 8 years.. And I didn't even know this song existed until late 2021. Its been a rough life as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I turned my back on him when I needed him most... And in the Scriptures, somewhere in Nephi, it says that it would have been better that you were never born after knowing God and denying him.. that was 2 years ago. HE is forgiving. All that time he was there by me, waiting for the moment that I would let him in. After turning away from him out of anger, pride, stubbornness, and foolishness... He took me back under his wing. And despite how many times I have slipped up and fallen back into sin.. He has always been there to pull me back up out of the pit. God is real, he is there, he is watching over us all. And wants us to be with him. I bear my testimony that I know these things to be true. This is his true church. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith, and all who have been called to lead the church, are all true prophets of God. God sent his only begotten to atone for the sins of the world so that we may be saved from the bonds of the adversary. Stay close to God. And Trust in him. Of these things I testify in Jesus name, Amen.

Romela Cris Peñaranda We ALL feel that way. Let me tell you this. I joined the Church as the first member of my family to do so. Well i had just gotten out of a very sinful relationship or so i had thought. I continued in sin and would cry every time i listened to this song. About half a year later i confessed to my bishop, and got back into the spiritual light of our heavenly father. Ever since i feel so unworthy to even sing of Christ like i do every time i listen to this song. God loves you, and you are never to far away to come back into his presence
It is okay we have all been there and we just have to be more like jesus no matter what it takes. We are all sinners and that is why god sent his only begotten son jesus to this earth to die for all of our sins. Pray, teach, learn jesus is waiting for you.
That’s the greatest thing about him. It doesn’t matter how much you have sinned or how bad it is. Christ will always love you and will wait with open arms until you are ready to go back to him and Heavenly Father. Because he sacrificed his life for us, we are able to repent from any sin and be forgiven for all that we have done wrong.
My wife & I were inactive for about 30 years, then our 17 year old autistic daughter was baptized by my brother as I was not worthy to do so. The past 17 years have been wonderful. I was ordained an elder that next Dec 1999. My wife & I were sealed for all time & eternity in Jan of 2003. The time since my daughters baptism in July 1999 has been filled with a since of calm. This song makes my heart happy. I have since been ordained a high priest & my & my wife's lives have been filled with callings that only increased our faith & commitment . I hope & pray that you will eventually come back to Christ & his church.
When I was 11 and my best friend turned 12, she went into young women's and they invited me to come to a Wednesday activity. It was 2 years ago in 2014, so this was the theme song. They sang the song, and I tried so hard not to cry! I get the same feeling every time I listen to this song. Also at that time my dad had cancer, I listened to this song every single night and prayed for him, that the pain would go away. My dad died, but I know the pain went away. I feel like this song helped me so much, it's so inspiring! It makes me feel loved, and makes me feel like I can pray to Heavenly Father about any of my problems. I still end up crying every time I hear this song.

I first heard this song years ago, and coming back to it now makes me think about how much things have changed. After doing my own research for more than six years, I walked into church this August and was baptized three weeks ago. My parents are devastated and strongly against the church, but I've found such genuine joy and peace. I play the piano in sacrament meetings, and I often play this song for prelude music. I'm so thankful for everything but most of all for my decision to come unto Christ. 🙏🤍

My husband and I have been married for 27 years. I have anger, anxiety and depression. We’re at the verge of divorce. He’s had enough of me. I’m own it. It’s my choices, that are hurting my family. I'm not even married. But, reading what you shared made me want to comment. You are an amazing daughter of God. You are loved, and you will always be enough for him. You may not feel like it, but I think you are very brave to seek help, it proves that your are "yielding to the enticing of the holy ghost", so don't give up in yourself, on your marriage and most especially on God. Just know you have someone praying for your happiness, all the way from Papua New Guinea.
I am too:) I've never really realised just how much I've relied on the Lord until about a year ago when my then 14 year old sister started doing things of questionable legality. Things have been really hard and are still rocky now but I know I'll be alright

If I hear this song I feel very overwhelmed that I feel for my family some are less active I cry for them in my in daily prayers when they will return back to Christ and feel his spirit and be close to Jesus Christ our saviour and our Redeemer and feast upon his words.

A great song. In all humility, I need Him every day, for in my own mortal frame I can only do so much. I have times when I feel down and hurt, fearful and concerned; I have weaknesses, imperfections and limitations. But knowing that Christ has none of those helps me reach out to Him for He is stronger than us all. If the whole world embraced Him, it would be such a greater place.
I heard this song for the first time last month when my daughters friend died in an accident last month with only 17 years. It helped me so much to struggle with this situation and to help this poor parents who lost their only child...

So I know my story isn't much different then many of yours,but here goes : I've been home from serving my mission for 6 months and anyone that had served a mission knows the struggles of coming back into the world after such a spiritual high. To say the least I have struggled and had a hard time since being back but this song lifts my spirits and Helps me know He is always near :)

Claire Christianson I know that feeling. I was a young Missionary BACK in 1972-1974 am I ever giving away my AGE !! But the withdrawals, misunderstandings, loneliness a returned Missionary feels. No more Companion or Zone Conferences to mix with your old companions etc etc. Returned Missionaries know exactly what I mean. So today I am 68yrs young, and am a Ward Missionary and work with the Elders often. Also I have the privilege of taking them to ZONE CONFERENCES. There I have the privilege of getting together with old Missionaries I worked with who were here in this remote spot of the Lord's Vineyard. I feel soooo blessed. At 68yrs doing service for our Saviour again is paramount to HAPPINESS. " I hope they call me on a Mission " Actually the Bishop is threatening to call us on a service Mission somewhere. I am trilingual. Because of the Blessings of a Mission.

I got my mission call recently and will depart on September. I've been facing challenges quietly and not letting anyone know. It's been hard these days. I was bullied years ago, suffered depression for 3 years. I listened to this song and this song was one of the reason of my success healing. These past few weeks, i feel like my depression is coming back. I questioned myself "we're okay now, right?" "You are okay now " "you're fine" "why now?" "Why are you coming back" And, just yesterday i lost my wallet. The thing is i lost the money for my endowment schedule, my garments and everything. And that took a really huge blow . i thought if i listen to ghe song that once healed me, will heal me again and it did! A piece of me is healing again. Lately I have been struggling a lot, and I'm not completely sure if I really believe anymore, it's hard because we have a lot of new changes in our young women program and I don't feel welcome anymore. This song was the theme song when I went to oakcrest, and its really helped me. Before I went to oakcrest, I had been struggling a lot and didn't want to go, but my parents insisted I go for at least the first day. The first time I heard this song there, it brought me to tears. This song is so beautiful and I'm so glad I went to oakcrest and heard it. I stayed at oakcrest the full week and made so many new friends and memories. This is one of my absolute favorite songs. This song has helped me many times. I’ve gone though a lot in my life. I was diagnosed with Autism and Anxiety as well as depression. I’ve lost both my parents in my 20’s. My brother had kinda been a pain to deal with lately and has been ignoring me. His wife has messaged me a few times. I listen to this song when I want to feel peace and want to feel God’s love. Romela Cris Peñaranda We ALL feel that way. Let me tell you this. I joined the Church as the first member of my family to do so. Well i had just gotten out of a very sinful relationship or so i had thought. I continued in sin and would cry every time i listened to this song. About half a year later i confessed to my bishop, and got back into the spiritual light of our heavenly father. Ever since i feel so unworthy to even sing of Christ like i do every time i listen to this song. God loves you, and you are never to far away to come back into his presence
It is okay we have all been there and we just have to be more like jesus no matter what it takes. We are all sinners and that is why god sent his only begotten son jesus to this earth to die for all of our sins. Pray, teach, learn jesus is waiting for you.
And just like this song says, He can heal you and take your sins away so you can become like Him and minister to others and experience true joy!
That’s the greatest thing about him. It doesn’t matter how much you have sinned or how bad it is. Christ will always love you and will wait with open arms until you are ready to go back to him and Heavenly Father. Because he sacrificed his life for us, we are able to repent from any sin and be forgiven for all that we have done wrong.

My wife & I were inactive for about 30 years, then our 17 year old autistic daughter was baptized by my brother as I was not worthy to do so. The past 17 years have been wonderful. I was ordained an elder that next Dec 1999. My wife & I were sealed for all time & eternity in Jan of 2003. The time since my daughters baptism in July 1999 has been filled with a since of calm. This song makes my heart happy. I have since been ordained a high priest & my & my wife's lives have been filled with callings that only increased our faith & commitment . I hope & pray that you will eventually come back to Christ & his church.

When I was 11 and my best friend turned 12, she went into young women's and they invited me to come to a Wednesday activity. It was 2 years ago in 2014, so this was the theme song. They sang the song, and I tried so hard not to cry! I get the same feeling every time I listen to this song. Also at that time my dad had cancer, I listened to this song every single night and prayed for him, that the pain would go away. My dad died, but I know the pain went away. I feel like this song helped me so much, it's so inspiring! It makes me feel loved, and makes me feel like I can pray to Heavenly Father about any of my problems. I still end up crying every time I hear this song.

I first heard this song years ago, and coming back to it now makes me think about how much things have changed. After doing my own research for more than six years, I walked into church this August and was baptized three weeks ago. My parents are devastated and strongly against the church, but I've found such genuine joy and peace. I play the piano in sacrament meetings, and I often play this song for prelude music. I'm so thankful for everything but most of all for my decision to come unto Christ. 🙏🤍

I'm not even married. But, reading what you shared made me want to comment. You are an amazing daughter of God. You are loved, and you will always be enough for him. You may not feel like it, but I think you are very brave to seek help, it proves that your are "yielding to the enticing of the holy ghost", so don't give up in yourself, on your marriage and most especially on God. If I hear this song I feel very overwhelmed that I feel for my family some are less active I cry for them in my in daily prayers when they will return back to Christ and feel his spirit and be close to Jesus Christ our saviour and our Redeemer and feast upon his words.

A great song. In all humility, I need Him every day, for in my own mortal frame I can only do so much. I have times when I feel down and hurt, fearful and concerned; I have weaknesses, imperfections and limitations. But knowing that Christ has none of those helps me reach out to Him for He is stronger than us all. If the whole world embraced Him, it would be such a greater place.

So I know my story isn't much different then many of yours,but here goes : I've been home from serving my mission for 6 months and anyone that had served a mission knows the struggles of coming back into the world after such a spiritual high. Claire Christianson I know that feeling. I was a young Missionary BACK in 1972-1974 am I ever giving away my AGE !! But the withdrawals, misunderstandings, loneliness a returned Missionary feels. No more Companion or Zone Conferences to mix with your old companions etc etc. Returned Missionaries know exactly what I mean. So today I am 68yrs young, and am a Ward Missionary and work with the Elders often. Also I have the privilege of taking them to ZONE CONFERENCES. There I have the privilege of getting together with old Missionaries I worked with who were here in this remote spot of the Lord's Vineyard. I feel soooo blessed. At 68yrs doing service for our Saviour again is paramount to HAPPINESS. " I hope they call me on a Mission " Actually the Bishop is threatening to call us on a service Mission somewhere. I am trilingual. Because of the Blessings of a Mission.

I got my mission call recently and will depart on September. I've been facing challenges quietly and not letting anyone know. It's been hard these days.
I was bullied years ago, suffered depression for 3 years. I listened to this song and this song was one of the reason of my success healing.

Lately I have been struggling a lot, and I'm not completely sure if I really believe anymore, it's hard because we have a lot of new changes in our young women program and I don't feel welcome anymore. This song was the theme song when I went to oakcrest, and its really helped me. Before I went to oakcrest, I had been struggling a lot and didn't want to go, but my parents insisted I go for at least the first day. The first time I heard this song there, it brought me to tears. This song is so beautiful and I'm so glad I went to oakcrest and heard it. I stayed at oakcrest the full week and made so many new friends and memories. This is one of my absolute favorite songs. This song is true and amazing. Christ truly does forgive us and will help us through when we need it. He believes there is good in all of us. A mis casi 28 años, escucho una vez mas esta oración e invitación hecha canción, y una y otra vez la vuelvo sentir como la primera vez, en mi vida. me siento tan conmovido, porque siento una vez mas el amor que Mi Padre y su Hijo sienten por mi, siento una vez mas que me recuerda que puedo levantarme si me caigo, porque aunque a veces yo involuntariamente crea que no lo necesito, aun en esos momentos el está ahí, no me ha abandonado nunca, no me ha permitido caer a tal grado de no poderme levantar de nuevo. la traducción del inicio del coro dice: "Ven a Cristo, ven a Él, y por su gracias volverás a ser santo, Él está llamándote, está esperando por ti, con sus brazos abiertos, ven a Cristo"
