    Let us give credit to the researchers who worked on Kaveri engine. They started working on it in the 1980s when there was no ecosystem to support such development. I also understand the funds allocated were much less than required for such projects. Over a period of time Indian scientist and engineers have developed various technologies related to a jet engine. In my opinion its this maturity which is enabling the manufacture of jet engines in India. US is recognizing this and will transfer the manufacturing methods based on our maturity in the subject. My sincere hope is that Indian scientist pursue the Kaveri engine and make it as capable or even better than the US engines.

      The secret to unlock is the metallurgy (alloy of metals used in fighter jet engine). Indian scientist will soon hopefully get insights into the blue print of US jet engine, and ultimately come out with better engine in future. China despite putting billions of dollars and effort after stealing blueprints of US and Russian jet engines have failed to develop reliable engine for it's next generation jet. China has failed to unlock the secrrets of Metallurgy.

Information regarding background,education,public life and legacy of India's first PM was on display at this residence. In a major move in 2022 the current government changed this composition of the library and displayed contributions,legacy,biography and political career of all Indian PMs till date. It used modern technology like holograms and 3-D storytelling. Now the name has also changed to affirm its present situation.

      Ruthless privatisation is needed... Insane privatisation

    • @therash09
      @therash09 Рік тому +5

      @@riturajjha privatization is not a magic solution. Privatization works when the society is flowing with talent and risk takers. India has a dearth of both. We may brag about our engineering and all, but the reality is that it is just that tiny cream that we flaunt and this cream rarely stays back in India. What remains behind is not ideally suited for building hi-tech giants. The reason is simple. The Indian education system and society are job-driven, not innovation-driven. India has brilliant minds capable of solving the toughest exam questions, but not broad enough to bring a breakthrough innovation to the table. Indian engineers write programs for foreign companies but produce no software of their own. The system is rotten! By system, I do not mean the government administration. It has to do with the societal values. A country where masters and doctorates are useless and less valued than bachelors can never innovate. India's postgrad and doctorate scenarios are really pathetic.
      In such circumstances, privatization will never help. Look at the businesses that Indian tycoons work on- petroleum, commodities, infrastructure, telecommunications- all this not on research, but mere business. They import technologies and hardware, and just install it in India to mint money! That's it! Have any of our mega private firms ever led some technological innovation? No! Even Chinese Huawei led the world in 5G patents. What were Reliance and Tata doing? Just importing hardware and installing mobile towers. That's the Indian private sector for you! Therefore, privatization will NOT help in these extreme hi-tech domains like jet engines and IC manufacturing. No private firm would like to invest in such capital demanding sectors from the scratch. And these are such crucial sectors that the foreign firms dealing with these will be skeptical in sharing their technologies.
      Therefore, the lead will have to taken by the government by setting up government entities in partnership with private players. China faced the same problems as us in the 1980s and 1990s. Their society wasn't churning out innovators back then. So their government established firms in all hi0tech domains. Today, China has an ecosystem and expertise for all these domains, which means that private players can jump in as they will!

    • @therash09
      @therash09 Рік тому +4

      @@riturajjha you have to understand how the big private companies of the world started. The people to start those businesses were not businessmen but engineers. They had technical expertise and ideas. That's all that is needed! You don't need to own a family business to start a big firm. Facebook, Microsoft, Google, Intel, Fairchild, Apple, AMD, Nvidia- the list is just unending. All these U.S. companies were setup by the experts in this domain.
      What is Mukesh Ambani's technical expertise? Nothing! He is just a great businessman, that's it! What is the technical expertise of the Tatas, Adani and the host of other big Indian private firms? You can answer these questions yourself! So, never ever think that privatization will boost the Indian economy. It will NOT! Yes, it will provide jobs and rage the average wages, but the real engine for growth is R&D and innovation. This will not happen by privatization, unless the society radically changes. Until then, the government will have to take the lead.
