      Hi. I have an annoying problem with my S9. With charging, to be exact. After a week, the charging breaks. it Is not from the charging module or from the battery, because I changed them. Until I change the motherboard, the problem is not solved. But then again, for a week is ok and then bye .. I saw on forums cause is the 2306KE. Do you have any idea why this is happening?

    Always unlucky when it comes to handphone. Spending thousands just to fix the phone and spending again and again but losing all the datas & memories. Will buy all your assembles and learn to fix my s9+ myself! Please make more great content and wish me luck. They should make a real waterproof phone. When accident happens, you know that it's not waterproof as claimed!! ****Samsung

    • @I_SuperHiro_I
      @I_SuperHiro_I 2 роки тому

      You can buy them on his website, or usually you can lookup a chip by it’s datasheet and check if the manufacturer or any retailers will sell them to you. It can be hit or miss though, as some companies have exclusive contracts to only sell to the manufacturer of a product. They do that to limit our ability to repair a device. Right To Repair is gaining momentum these days though.

    I have a question related to fixing pricing...
    How you can tell the customer about the fixing price specially if the repair is unusual or you don't have the replacement parts needed for the repair....

    • @I_SuperHiro_I
      @I_SuperHiro_I 2 роки тому +1

      Whenever I write a quote for a customer, it’s based on the understanding I may find additional issues, though I clear everything with them first. I am a Field Engineer who works on Analytical Elemental Analyzers. I think that’s a standard way of doing business because we can’t possibly know everything ahead of time. There’s always surprises.

    Hi, my Samsung S8+ developed black screen of death after dropping into bathtub for a few seconds. Everything was okay first, so I wiped the exterior dry and continued to use the phone. Then after over night charging, the phone could still power up with blue led light and boot up sounds, but no display. I've tried pressing different combinations of buttons to fix BSOD, but still no display.
    So, I replaced battery and USB charge port flex cable, to no avail. And now, the red led light flashed with 2 beeps when the charger was plugged in, indicating chager is plugged in but battery is not charging.
    I am thinking about taking off the metal shield on logic board for further inspection of Power Management IC chip.
    Any advice? Or mail-in estimate?

    How can you even tell the IC chip is soldered on properly? Is there.a certain technique to it?

    • @wefukthenwo
      @wefukthenwo 4 роки тому

      By turning it on is the only way that works for me. After many repairs you just know that the solder has bonded correctly.

    • @pkmobius
      @pkmobius 4 роки тому

      You just need to have even amount (NOT TOO MUCH!) of solder on each pad, have enough flux on there and just solder it with heat gun so it moves into place and "dances" when you move the heat gun a little from side to side.

    Back in 2020 i dropped my phone in bathroom for just a while, i thought that the phone(s9+) is water resistant, so i washed it and after that i could not charge my phone, when i connected the charger red light would start blinking but it won't charge. Then i took it to a local repair shop, and i was able use the device (He also changed the battery). But the red notification light remains there and won't turn off(while the device is on), and i have to keep a charger with me all the time as battery time is 3 hrs whether in use or not.
    Tonight i didn't turn off the device which otherwise has become compulsory and now the device is not charging again, a red light is blinking while connected to the charger. what should i do now? help me plz.😔
