Matt that’s as good as a pool company would have done if not better you guys need to give ya selves a pat on the back man that’s an awesome job you guys did freaking amazing
My attitude is, if you build it and it works correctly, you did it right. Matt, you did it and it works and it looks great. Love the channel and always learn something when I watch.
Well that turned out supper, nice job. I made one for my grandkids out of an 8 foot stock thank, used blue truck bed liner sprayed on the inside, used a smaller sand pump then yours, works good for the little kids. They are under 10 years old.
Great job using an old bin. I have a family member that had a new silo built on their dairy farm. Somehow they brought too many staves so a 30 foot by 5 foot deep pool was built. With a deck, sliding board, and basketball net, it is a great fun place. Farmer ingenuity always wins!🏊♂️🤽♂️
Looks amazing as a farm boy I would love if my pops built me one but sadly Alberta Canada gets -40 in the winter and we get more cold weather than hot .. just amazing too see how much work you put in for your family to enjoy I remember being little we never had time to do much it was work work work your family is lucky to have you around id love to see what it looks like once you have had a few years to build around it and make a deck and sitting area
Matt. This is tremendously creative. Well done.Very very cool. One thing I would add. Take some pool noodles, split them on one side and mount them around the top rim of the pool. Make the edge a little more forgiving if the kids get rowdy playing games. Kudos!
On opening the skimmer hole. Next time fully mount it without cutting the liner. Once all is mounted. Then just cut to hole open. But all else looks great. Good job Matt.
From a person who did pools for aloha pools and spa for 2 years I would say you did great they make a pool vac you stick between the liner and pool wall that sucks all the air out under the liner and sucks the liner to the wall
Mtt and Kelly that turned looking great me and my wife want to find an old grain bin and make grilling place gazbo we see people doing that on u tube but theres not many grain bins around here in Limestone Tn what you find is rusted really bad but great job looks awesome and not really bad on the cost
Nice Job Matt and Kelly! That pool fits right into the farm and will be so great with the deck & gazebo. Here's to many years of enjoyment with your family and friends!
Looks great! I would definitely enjoy a pool like that.. I would invest in some s/s screws for around the skimmer and water inlet. Also make sure you don't have too much suction at the drain, or at least known in the pool when you open it up, especially kids.
I loved it! It looks perfect and fits the farm to a T. How about using the top portion of the grain bin in the background with the rusty roof for the top of the gazebo? It would kinda match that way. Just a thought.
Ya'll are awesome!! Really cool project!! I enjoy all of your videos and am amazed at your know how and expert knowledge!! Keep up the great work and enjoy your pool!!!!
Superb Matt you should be very proud of what you have achieved agricultural engineering at its best. Hope you get plenty of time to enjoy all your hard work.
A deck going halfway around both sides would look nice on it with a roof top and lights. This is amazing, never seen anything like it. A bar type gazebo would look nice beside it also, like have bar stools in it that goes around and table top going around like a bar.
Pool looks great. If I'm thinking right, that should be a old government surplus bin. They had them for storing wheat, then sold them to public real cheap. We got two of them, even have that tiny square door to get into bin.
Howdy Matt, Kelly, I gotta say guys, you did an Amazing job on the grain bin pool !! It looks Absolutely Fantastic !! Well done guys, we'll done, so when's the first BBQ pool party ?? I'll be sure to keep my calendar open for that day 😉 Just Amazing Matt and Kelly, I look forward to seeing the pool deck and gazebo when you get them up, really Fantastic job ya'll !! Stay safe, Stay Calm and Farm on my Friends, Peace
I think you should add a short fence around it so when you play basketball you don't have to go get it when you throw it out of the pool it just hits the fence and back into the pool
The belt you took out of the conveyor cut it the hight of the wall and place between the liner and the bolt head. That's what my dad did on our above ground pool worked great no wearing on the liner. Just a suggestion. Something that worked for us.
Man I love that buddy. You did great job wouldn't change anything really. I'm just thinking like a farmer here, on the gazebo top, could you possibly make it to where in the winter or before bad weather design the gazebo to be moved to cover pool an save the cover you will purchase? Or get a heater an have a spa in winter? Great job an God bless.
Awesome job!!! Can you share where you got the liner from. I did a 30ft bin pool with a overlap liner. I'm about to replace the liner and yours looks like a better option. Thanks for the great video.
How is the skimmer, jets & everything working / holding up after being used for two years? We are gonna be putting one up this weekend & i am following your video along with other advice found on fb!
People talk about us old rednecks but we can make anything when the time comes like Hank Williams Jr said country people can survive lol
That is the coolest recycling project I have ever seen
Love the pool. Nothing screams farmer more than a pallet deck. Keep the videos coming
Y'all did a wonderful job on that conversion the pool looks so nice, Cheers from Jacksonville Florida 🌞
Matt that’s as good as a pool company would have done if not better you guys need to give ya selves a pat on the back man that’s an awesome job you guys did freaking amazing

Matt you are a hell of an engineer.
When i was a kid my dad cut a big water tank and made us a pool out of it.
Easily the best pool ever!
Well that turned out supper, nice job. I made one for my grandkids out of an 8 foot stock thank, used blue truck bed liner sprayed on the inside, used a smaller sand pump then yours, works good for the little kids. They are under 10 years old.
Nice way to build a pool
It is people like you that make a nation great! Your family and ancestors have every reason to be proud of you.
WTF???
It is a compliment. Most people don’t have that vision or skillset to accomplish that project. So wtf to your wtf

Pretty cool Matt good job you should be proud 👏
Matt you all did well with the pool project
That’s pretty sweet if I was younger I believe I would have done the the same thing. Hope y’all enjoy.
Alternative use for the pool. Water source for filling the sprayer quickly!
😂

That’s what I did
Great job guys hope you enjoy it all summer long in those hot Tennessee days.
Awesome job and way to re-purpose! No better pool for a farm!!! Matt I think you found a new side business when your not busy, LOL!!!!
From a person who did pools for aloha pools and spa for 2 years I would say you did great they make a pool vac you stick between the liner and pool wall that sucks all the air out under the liner and sucks the liner to the wall
Hey Matt awesome pool man , the bin top gazebo will be awesome too.
great idea on reusing the bin
Mtt and Kelly that turned looking great me and my wife want to find an old grain bin and make grilling place gazbo we see people doing that on u tube but theres not many grain bins around here in Limestone Tn what you find is rusted really bad but great job looks awesome and not really bad on the cost
Looks Good. It will be absolutely perfect when you get the deck around it. Hope yall enjoy it for many years to come.

Awesome video!
Ingenious idea.Hope you all get some really good use of it

That’s genius. 👍
When it comes to cold water. I get it over with. An dive in....
Excellent job on the pool
That is to cool! Well done!
I watched your video I think you all did a great job wished I would have one growing up myself
Great idea.
I loved it! It looks perfect and fits the farm to a T. How about using the top portion of the grain bin in the background with the rusty roof for the top of the gazebo? It would kinda match that way. Just a thought.
Beauty, amazing job. You going to put a BBQ pit in next? Very impressive work.

That's freaking awesome, love it
now thats a pool built to last.
A deck going halfway around both sides would look nice on it with a roof top and lights. This is amazing, never seen anything like it. A bar type gazebo would look nice beside it also, like have bar stools in it that goes around and table top going around like a bar.
That’s the plan for the gazebo
Excellent job I’m sure it will be put to good use you deserve it
Pool looks great. If I'm thinking right, that should be a old government surplus bin. They had them for storing wheat, then sold them to public real cheap. We got two of them, even have that tiny square door to get into bin.
Love it
Cordless drills save lives. ; P (from electrocution) Very nice pool.

You have a good problem solving brain! Good job

Man you’re talking way too much work for me!
@@griggsfarmsllc hahaha, matt, kelly an Zach y'all are the best. But I bet I got you thinking about it tho. 👍
I'm going to build me one just like it
Awesome any plans to paint the outside saw some rust starting around where you installed the scimmer.
Lol we used the pond years ago
I tried telling Kelly we had a perfectly good organic pool free from any chemicals in the back yard, but she didn’t go for it…
Build a deck that you can back the bus up to and airbnb it.
😂
Awesome job!!! Can you share where you got the liner from. I did a 30ft bin pool with a overlap liner. I'm about to replace the liner and yours looks like a better option. Thanks for the great video.

Do you remember where you got those coping strips to hold the liner in, they look squared on the top and I'd like something similar
Aloha Pools and Spas
What are you using for the top clips/strips to hold the liner on? Where did you get it? Thanks.. looks great.
It’s called top rail. I got it at the local pool store.
How is the skimmer, jets & everything working / holding up after being used for two years?
We are gonna be putting one up this weekend & i am following your video along with other advice found on fb!
Still working like a charm. Got a deck built this year
👍👍
What type of liner fastening system did you use to install the liner? Considering Jhook system but wanted to see what you used
Great video. Thank you.
Where did you get the liner.?
Branded Manufacturing in Trenton, TN made it
What did you use for the top to hold liner? The rail?… what is that or where did you get it? Does that come with the liner when you buy it?
Just called top rail I think. Should be available at any pool place
What did you use on top rail to hold liner in place?
Slow clap....
What did you use for coping around the top edge?
What kind of liner did you use for this? Brand? Overlap? I'm starting the same project and this is my only hold up.
No overlap. Liner had a J-hook to hook on edges of side. Liner came from Branded Mfg.
www.brandedmfg.com
Thank you!
who did you get order a liner from? I'm doing a similar build and need a custom depth liner and having issues finding someone.
Branded Manufacturing in Trenton TN
Where did you order your liner from? Does it include the top part that covers over the top of the liner?
Branded Manufacturing made the liner. The top rail came from the local pool store
You don't just like I would have
