WEEKEND WOGAN 10th ANNIVERSARY SERIES - Show 24/35
11.04am, live on BBC Radio 2 on Sunday, 3 October 2010… Elton John & Bernie Taupin’s classic ‘Crocodile Rock’.
And so, for the third and final series of ‘Weekend Wogan’, we came back from our 6-week break with a bang to live national radio (and for this particular show, a simultaneous live television broadcast) with a special show from the world famous London Palladium in aid of Children In Need. The Palladium was generously donated, free of charge, by its owner and one of Terry's guests on the show, Andrew Lloyd Webber.
The earliest soundcheck of my career (so far!) was for this show… 7am… ready to play… finish rehearsing with all the guests by 10am… time for a quick coffee before changing for the show... then… on air at 11am… kicking off the show with this performance… my debut at the London Palladium!!!
And what a thrill it was. 😁🎹❤️
