Judi's 'How am I supposed to kill you with your own shoes...?' is one of many great laughs this show has given me for the last 7 years! I love it lol
I actually rewinded the episode to watch her saying that multiple times. It’s also the reason I clicked on this video lol.
Damn that delivery!!
Ending with it being a practice shot only solidified it. Exactly what my niece says when she throws crappy on yatzy and other dice games 🤣
I will forever love Judi just completely misunderstanding the point and going for Ardal's tower. And everyone's genuine sympathy, because they really wanted her to win at least one episode.
Well, in her defense, it was just a practice throw... :)
Some reason I am convinced she did it on purpose. After so many attempts that failed to bring Sophie down and her cry of "how can I kill you with your own shoe" that she didn't want to do it
Sophie deserves the win after being targeted by everyone. The funny part is when the only impact it took left the tallest part.
She had the opposite of Chris’s strategy, instead of making a tower that’s difficult to hit, she made one that’s easy to hit, but with multiple spires/better structural integrity. Totally deserved
chris: hAve yOu goT MAGIC POWAHS??
This was the first of two (so far!) studio tasks where -Judi- Queen Zafoofoo could have won the whole episode.......but failed right at the end.
If Judi doesn’t win the finale, I will riot.
Sophie lending Judi her shoes is an amazing power play lol.
She went to Cambridge
@@kickedinthecalfbyacow7549 what do you mean by that? 😅
@@326Alan it’s not a euphemism, she did go to Cambridge
@@kickedinthecalfbyacow7549 oh I don't doubt the fact 😁 but was curious what you were implying
@@326Alan nothing beyond the statement itself. But don’t let that stop you talking offence.
Sophie Duker is my new fave person.
I think she’d make a great Doctor.
Sophie out-thought everyone with two spires. That’s beyond my capability.
I like that shoes were the projectiles because they are so irregular that they won’t fly straight.
Oh they will. You just have to not suck at throwing. England not so much known for the throwing sports lol.
@@patpat8727 The throwing sports... like cricket? How dumb are you?
Also wearing twice as big boots as others' normal shoes was part of her success.
@@patpat8727 hey, welly tossing is a must have event at every school fair and other outdoor events.
There's also cricket.
"Sophie's the tallest"
"Yeah that was a practice, yeah"
hahahahaha
"Weren't you wearing a watch" slew me..
I’ve re watched snippets of other seasons and they’re not even in the same league. The chemistry on this season was a magic winning formula!
"Huvv view got mahjick pow-waas!?!" 😆
The most astounding fact on this show, is how Alex looks so much smaller compared with Greg, when in reality he's just 14 centimeters shorter.
He said because he gets called Little Alex Horne people are surprised at how tall he is when they meet him in real life.
But that is almost 6" shorter.
@@georgielancaster1356
A definite and obvious height difference.
5.51181"
Never caught the bit about the watch during waters breaking, jeez what a legend.
I can’t with Judi… I just can’t.
Can't what?
You can lend her a dog.
I didn’t have a “merrr” (or a “merrrerr”, as Ardal corrected himself) so I can’t be sure: I think my face would have reflected Little Alex Horne’s expression throughout Bridget’s fart-putty description.
The color of the fart putty was obscene...
So good watching Greg and Alex bury themselves in their chair because of Bridget's story, I also sort cringed a little. Too bad for Judith, she still hasn't won one.
@YoJesusMorales
Who is Judith?
There was no judith
Judi is the stand out of this season no doubt about it.
Just like her eyes
"Hello I'm that bitch!"
the stand out at being annoying, unfunny and incompetent
My version of the live task would have 3 throws each meaning both shoes which is 2 of the throws & both their socks into a ball for the final throw.
They all throw like its the first time theyve ever thrown anything.
I love judi. What a great contestant
Weren't you wearing a watch a minute ago?
Judi 🤣🤪😆
Why does this translate to "gambling"? 😂

Decimate means to get rid of 10%...
No it doesn't
@@drflaggstaff9008 It does, but these days people use it as a synonym for "destroy".
@@drflaggstaff9008 Yes, it does.

@@jeffl.9633 almost like language evolves over time
Decimate means to reduce by 10%. If anyone had actually done this, it would have been extraordinary. This is the only Taskmaster task which was awarded wrongly. Sorry to be specific, but Horne&Co. should know this
How was it awarded wrongly? The actual wording of the task was:
"Build the tallest tower of toilet rolls in front of your spot. You have a hundred seconds. After 100 seconds, you will throw both of your shoes at the towers, one at a time from the throwing spot. Whoever builds the tallest tower will throw first. *Tallest toilet roll tower after all shoes are thrown wins."*
Even if one grants that 'decimate' can only mean what you say it means, that still doesn't make awarding points based on tower height wrong, since it was never stated that the contestants had to 'decimate' the towers to win. All you could say is that the person who uploaded this video to Channel 4's YT channel used the word incorrectly.
That's a dated definition, not the usage today.
@@digipoke12345 in which case, knowing my own language becomes pointless
I would say Judi probably took about 10% off Ardal's tower.
@@digipoke12345 yes because so many people used it wrongly that someone decided "eh might as well call it right, they aren't gonna change". I worked for an editor that refused to let the word into the paper unless for some reason the historical definition was met, which if true would then make a helluva headline and story.
How did this become more popular than Peep Show?
Have you been outside? Peep show is hugely popular, nor do both the shows run at the same time and they're completely different genres
@@amemelia I often mention PS to people who've not previously heard of it. I've also heard many people say they've heard of it but have never seen it. It's never had high viewing figures or mainstream popularity. They're both C4 comedies. Taskmaster began months before s9 of PS was first shown.
Probably because you could watch any episode of any TM series and enjoy what's happening whereas PeepShow is an ongoing story (that went on for yeeeeeaars) so isn't such an easy draw.
@@Tao_Tology That's probably one of the reasons, although many long sitcoms are very popular, including Friends, Only Fools & Horses & the US version of The Office.
Who said it is?
As a sneakerhead, there is no way I'm throwing my shoes at anything. Yes, I would be 'that guy' going: I'm not throwing these iridescent Nike Air Force 1s I'm sorry.
So lucky you are not on Taskmaster.
We are in the ashes of civilisation.
I don’t mind it actually
Yes we are, but what’s that gotta do with Taskmaster?
Segregation still a thing?
You do know that the contestants sit alphabetically - and have since the very first episode?
@@sarahcoulson8920 some people just want to feel offended by anything
It is a thing. Some notice the nuances in TM, others just repeat their dumb opinions all over the time.
But I encourage you to watch for example the Finnish or Swedish version of TM. In there they are rotating the contestants episode by episode. You'll be satisfied.
