Had a similar issue with a newer civic, and I had to get the Srs ecu reset to erase the pop-up hood codes codes. It can not be done with regular odb scanner, the module needs to be removed and flashed.
Hi Shak , love the videos. I would recommend getting a couple of small car ramps for working underneath the car, relatively inexpensive (especially second hand), take up no space and are much safer than leaving on jacks.
Hi Daniel, I appreciate your input and I’m currently looking into getting a unit and maybe a proper ramp. We will see but I will probably get temporary ramps until then.
Another great and honest video. Really enjoying your content and going to give this ago in jan25. Just one thing if you need a hammer to instal brake pads there is an issue. Much easier to take off, clean with wire brush and grease up. They will last longer for the new owner.
That car for the US Market was called the Acura RL, and the adaptive cruise control was fairly rear option, and the only option for that car at the time. Acura referred to that option as the PAX/system, which also included run flat tires.
Was here from the first video with the a class and I must say I am LOVING the videos. They’re so nice and simple with the way you explain what you’re doing with the car. Please post more and keep it up 👍🏼
SH-AWD. Never knew had adaptive steering had around 4. Unsure how don’t know that. I like them. Had one 6k ten years ago was a 9k trade car. 10 years back this was. Took 14 months sell as 6k. Now at 3k just look great tech plush luxo value
@@ShaksAutos Makes perfect sense !!!! As as all us traders we like to play/find/try the toys on these yesterday barges/smokers we drive back. Must be a rare option tick indeed

You definitely need your own work shop with a ramp. Not too sure who would buy this kind of car as there are so many others that offer luxury for similar price point jag, Mercedes, bmw etc Probably only lexus or Infiniti buyers could be drawn in. Good luck
Any Honda gurus can shed some light on the pop up system light and how to get around it ? It would be appreciated 🙏🏼

Thanks for the tips! I will be using more grease next time
Can’t believe you broke the keyring 😂 also surprised by how fully loaded this car is for it’s age!
The Honda Legends were always fully loaded! They were a step up from the Accord, an alternative to the BMW 5 series & Mercedes E class..

True! Don’t know why they named it different for the UK which ultimately failed to sell.
@@ShaksAutos Its called the Honda Legend in Japan as well, since they don't offer Acura in Japan as their luxury division.
i didnt know that!
Was 2 of these 140 and 170k LegEnds bca. Made about 300-600 a piece. End life examples. Yesterday a 60k one made 3050 at bca
They still go for strong money 💰
Remove the radiator and check the part numbers, it might be used across the honda range, might even find the same rad on an accord
Luckily the part number is placed on top by the coolant tank.
Maybe even find a local welder that knows how to braze and can repair the rad for not-a-lot.
should have put clear lacquer on headlights to stop them fading again....................

Glad you like them! Thank you 🙏🏼
Nice video again Shak :) Maybe a new chrome grill from Honda is not a lot of money as they might have end of life stocks to clear.
I asked and it was almost a grand!
Really like your channel, you deserve to do well
Thank you so much 😊
Respect my brother. Run the OBD2, a more advance machine. Love from notts!
I’m waiting for a good scanner to arrive and this was shot months ago 😅
@ haha yeah I seen the listing. Ma sha allah nice result

No all of them had the steer assist. It had to be an extra option to tick from new

Really do like the drive of these

Great point! However, the reliability that comes with a Honda can’t be matched unless it’s Lexus or Toyota.
Dont think ive seen these. The rear really looks like the rear of the newer mercs
Yeah looks really good
What legends, you and the car!
Appreciate the comment bro 👊
like honest people not many would have shown this
Thank you :)
Honda slogan is made of dreams. they run forever
Tax is a joke one these, that's why they don't sell well
Direct Debit helps a little bit. You'd be surprised some people don't even put tax into consideration.
Not only tax,but they are a bit thirsty
@@ShaksAutos 100%, I run 3 cars, two are high tax bracket, DD is essential
£710 road tax, good luck
