Ten is hands down one of the best dancers in K-pop, so anyone who’s into dance or passionate about it knows him. Even the director of Team Beat, Yeogeum admire TEN LEE. Yeogeum is himself a really great dancer. They were participant in "hit the Stage" a long time ago. So he Said he really admire him for his dancing and charisma.
If you think about it a lot of these trainees aren’t Korean so having WayV as directors was a really smart idea especially because of how strong their performances are and being multilingual

I don't know if you're aware but the most likely reason why Rhythm Team is so popular among trainees is that Ten is already a two-time mentor on shows like this and he's a known legend in dancing (vocal is insane too). He's an all-rounder that ppl are already aware of. Yangyang's presence balances and completes it as he's a great rapper and next best dancer. Being multilingual group helps alot too.
Honestly I agree, Team Rhythm❤ is in 'fact' pretty stacked in my opinion but I do believe that Team Groove💚 is the still the most dangerous one so far. I don't know, all of Groove's members seem to have the most fight in them. On the other hand I think Team Beat💙 is a little too balanced. So far with the members they have, they currently lack the edge. I honestly can't wait to see what happens next. Universe League is my new current obsession.🤟😆
JL is so talented ❤ An All-rounder and Powerful trainee for me. He is literally an ACE. If you watch his performances before, his aura on stage is superb🔥 he literally changes his stage pressence depending on any genre he performs 😎💯. He's basically a total package ❤️😊
to clarify: kyungho and woongki were very close back when they were in to1/too. woongki took a break and eventually left the group alongside two other members so there probably weren’t much connection between woongki and the members who were still active in to1/too. but there’s no ill feelings between the two, they just naturally fell apart! also woongki participated in boys planet alongside shuaibo
WayV are the global unit and have a different name since when they debuted because of tensions between Korea and China so they didn’t go by the name NCT but they are a unit

What you don't see in survival shows is the behind the scene event.. what all we are seeing now is the Editor's Cut, because they need to make a story out of it, so usually they will show and highlight the person who got the most impact in that show, so usually that person will have the most airtime.. Sometimes one thing about survival show is that k-netizens call it Director's evil cut, because they will highlight a person's incident and make it that he/she is a bad villain, something like that, but in real life they were not like that.. Always remember, Show editor's need to make a Story out of it, but that is not the whole story of what's going on the inside.. So for now let's enjoy the Universe League.. we all can't wait for ep2..
