Hades needs a visual rework for Smite 2
I think it'd be cool if the scale of the font for the damage numbers scaled with how much damage you actually are dealing, so if you're playing like fafnir and using his dragon form breath, you see a lot of smaller numbers showing up super fast, but if you hit someone with a huge ra ult the 1,256 dmg number would be really big, i think that might feel really good
This is a phenomenal idea that would add some oomph and impact to teamfights
They're already doing that. They announced it in the patch notes today.

Am I the only one that thinks it would be a huge improvement if they cut out a lot of the color and noise in the item thumbnails?
Should be able to tell at a glance exactly what you're looking at and color makes a huge difference.
When you're looking at 30 item thumbnails on the screen I can't just look for the "green" crit item, its gotta be some weird green offshoot with a yellow background and some grey sprinkled in and every item has some kind of extra glow around it. Like if you're trying to tell a new player in League to buy a Deathcap I can say it's a purple hat, but if i need to tell someone to buy a pestilence I have to tell them to look for the green red yellow alien squiggle?
IDK it's hard to pinpoint what it is exactly but there's just something about the color scheme and art that feels off to me. Maybe i'm wrong.

For PC maybe, but that looks to be an absolute nightmare on console

@@DarrellBubbitem navigation and the store UI in general looks likes it was made for PC first and console was an after thought. They brought this kind of UI over to console in Year 10 and clearly there was enough backlash that they quickly brought back the old one. Now, granted we haven't seen any game play on console but it's already got me worried due to history. They're trying to fix a problem that never existed. There's nothing wrong with current store UI in Smite. It currently takes me 5 seconds to get me to the category i want. This looks like it'll take 30 seconds
They say it'll be easier for console players. I'm waiting for that proof

Agreed. I don’t play conquest and it was a fun change of pace at first but I’d at least want one other casual game mode like Arena or Joust
I think Arena makes the most sense. Even conquest is so unserious because it's new and buggy and unbalanced.
Since the conquest map is 99% the same as Smite, more freedom to play with the actually new mechanics and visuals would be great!
I agree. I wish arena or joust would be in the mix. I'm not a fan of conquest anymore. It used to be fun way back in the day
Arena, even if they adjusted items massively, would give them more data on item bugs and what items need to be toned down/adjusted slightly. Which will help them get closer to what both they and the community wants before beta.
Granted its only the 2nd alpha so hopefully by 3 or 4 they do it.

I liked Hades when you couldn’t see the ground in his ult and only the purple. Hope they bring that back. Ult aesthetically felt more powerful

Did you fix the issue where Anubis wrap wouldn’t go off but would go in to cooldown?
Biggest issue for me. The animation would play out, no wraps sent forward, then cooldown starts. Sometimes the wraps would be invisible, yet still wrap people, preventing me from continuing damage engagement because I ran off thinking it glitched again.
When you guys get around to adding Chang’e into Smite 2, I really hope you will look at this list of some LONG awaited changes that I would love to see on one my favorite Goddesses!!!!
1. 🪭🪭GIVE HER A FAN AS A WEAPON!!!! OMG! PLEASE! I’ve been YEARNING for YEARS! 🪭🪭
at least on one skin! But as many as you would like pLEAsESSE!
Make her a cherry blossom spirit or a some sort of geisha or a Japanese inspired Shinto priestess!!!!
2.. make the heal on her 3 scale with Level as well! Her heal is a flat amount while Aphrodite, Hel, and many others scale with the LEVEL of the goddess as well, I think Chang’e deserves that same treatment!
3. Give her a buff on her 2 where she also gets decreased cooldown on her abilities from avoiding damage with her leap. The reduction could scale with level, as well as how many instances of DMG has been avoided.
4. I would also love the animations for all of her kit to be a bit mire updated and flashy!

I would also recommend that maybe you consider giving her some kind of Ally Buffon her Ult?
It could be giving her ult a CC cleanse like the item Absolution that bursts out after it is launched?????
Or if that is too much, at least a burst of movement speed to all Allies in a 60 unit radius that scales with level and lasts longer the more enemies are hit with Chang’e’s Ult!!!!
Or a big AIE heal like Soul Gem comes out after the final hit of the animation and heals Chang’e and ALL nearby Allies for %5 of their health for every ENEMY hit? There’s quite a couple ideas to think about/consider!!!!!
I want the dancer of the battlefield to benifit her team more than she already does, and I want her to be able to support as well!
She’s great as a damage based mage, a hybrid tanky solo laner, or a very slippery jungler, but has so much potential for support as well with just a FEWWWW tweaks!!!!!
With nothing but love and an OVERWHELMING desire to watch this goddess blossom into all she was meant to be, I’ll leave it there!✨
Change needs nothing her kit is the best in smite beads aegis every 10 second huge line stun with hvy damage and she also has self heals oh yea dhe dont even have to back to go to the store......cheesiest god in the whole game

So far doesn't seem like it? Maybe they tweaked his dash? Or something atleast since he is very eh smite 1 kit wise. Feel like since he is the God of the underworld he should be able to summon minions in his ult not alot but a few like 3 while he pulls you in but the dmg obviously scaled down due to minions being there. Just an idea but as we can see nothing has changed 🤷🏻♂️

@@POCAHONTASBOI from what im reading. He can only cast 1 after that 1 other ability he cant any other spells. So its literally do you want to move yourself, cc everyone or heal. it sounds cool but its more of a pick one based on the situation your in.

Here's some feedback, make the stats and the menu hotkeys on the bottom right of the screen a toggle rather than always on, makes it feel somewhat mobile ui. Also really hope the visuals in the maps and lobby get a lot better.
Especially the lobby/client ui and stuff, the current one feels like a crappy place holder imported from paragon. Really need to get an improved version of smite 1's pedestals with everyone on your team standing there. The tiny face jpgs and ui feel like such a major downgrade from smite 1. Like honestly the entire new client is a major downgrade as far as visual uniqueness and theming compared to smite 1.

Game is not different enough hybrid builds are barely a thing, actives are limited and there needs to be more outplay potential and snowballing early game.

And it's not just me btw, it's objectively true lol. unless ur blind, u can see with ur eyes they are literally using the same exact old assets for every single god, same exact model, same pose (even how they hold their weapons 💀), same walk, same cast/aa animations. just "improving" them with better graphics and smaller changes.

is the crossplay button going to work in Smite 2? unlike in smite 1? I know smite 1 died and that's why you had to ruin console play with forced crossplay but it really is awful for us and it feels like you really don't like us even though console players were more loyal to you than pc players were.

@@Boom3120 smite 1 did die on pc, that's why they had to punish console players with forced crossplay. All console players have been demoted to silver/gold due to the disadvantage. Hirez says thats fair.
