I want to say that Gyros in Greece that I went there for my holidays in around 2018 was amazingly fulfilling! Thick pita bread and load of stuffings; chicken or lamb, Mayo, french fries, lettuce and tomatoes. I love it! 👌🏻
Glad to hear that you have also had the chance to taste the delicious Greek Gyros! When we travel to Greece, one of the first things we do, is to sit somewhere and enjoy a Gyros with a cold beer! We met all three of the owners of the restaurant and they were all passionate about the restaurant - one could really feel and see that!! When the heart is in the restaurant the food and atmosphere can ONLY BE GOOD! Maro and I (Maxi) were also VERY impressed by the presentation of the food, it looked so fresh and inviting in The Fat Greek packaging! We are also both Ginger fans, Ginger Beer on it´s own and recently in a new Drink/Cocktail we have discovered "The Dark and Stormy", the Ginger Beer from The Fat Dane with the Chili and Lime was an excellent combination, very refreshing! So pleased to hear you enjoyed the vid, more Copenhagen videos are on the way alongside our regular Travel videos! Enjoy the rest of the weekend both of you! :-D

As we always say... when we were editing this video our mouths just had a constant drool, we kept saying to each other that we must go back soon! HeHe, the pork for starters and the chicken for later, good idea, but we warn you, they are huge and very filling! The food was all sooo good! When I (Maxi) used to live in South Africa, one of the Take Away places used to do Paprika on the fries too - it does take them to the next level and when the sauces are also good... what more do you need? Thanks for watching Steven!
Glad you enjoyed the video. No, this is not a "Turning Around" Gyros. These Gyros are made the way the owners grandfather made them in Athens (as he mentions in the video). Despite that... however the meat was prepared, this was the best Gyros (Pita if you like) that we have tasted and we have eaten a lot of them in Greece :-D Thanks for watching our video and for sharing your knowledge and opinion. Fantastic that you are coming to Copenhagen! We suggest that you go onto Google Earth so that you can plan your route from there. If you are walking, the easiest way for you is to go to Rådhuspladsen City Hall Square - see on Map) and from there walk down Strøget (the Long Walking Street - see on map) that goes all the way down to Kongens Nytorv. Nyhavn is close to Kongens Nytorv :-D You will find all these locations on the Google Map! Have a fantastic time in Copenhagen :-D
Greek gyros is so good that doesn't matter where are you eating it . IT MUST BE real Greek of course not just copy where you add some strange ingredients that don't belong to gyros .

Gyros in greece is mainly pork or chicken. Lamb is very rare in gyros
