£35!! Baked bean tin (65p) with some tealights (£2.25 100pack).. Will look great with the Korda floss caps and all the rest of the nonsense
I bought one of those recently and using only 2 tea lights it set all the wax up in flames shooting out the vent holes. Before anyone suggests that there was excess wax in side from previous use there wasn't. It was immaculately clean. I had to use a fire extinguisher to put it out. If there had been 5 tea lights in it would have been much worse. Dangerous product.
Been doing this since the 80s.. in old bean.. soup tins.. cost nothing
Safer too................cant believe they are selling something that has holes in the side..............tip that over and candle flame could easily flicker through and say goodbye to your bivvy...........
Ditto, I made one the other day, got a large baked bean tin from the canteen at work, used a pair of tin snips to cut a holes in sides at what was top (now the bottom when reversed) and drill a few holes in base (now the top) and make a hook from a wire coat hanger. For the base I use either a crushed tin, or the heat reflector from my MSR stove.
Also, makes a great plate warmer, put your metal plate on top if you get a bite and it keeps your warm.
Another expensive and pointless product from Nash
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha u should get locked up for this £35 is criminal if it wasn't for Alan Blair I'd unsubscribe
10 degrees, well I would like to see that study
Im sure the study was made when sun came up in the spring. Therefore the 10 degrees raise🤣🤣🤣
omg how many comments slagging this off because of the price, 35 pound isn't a bad price I don't think. If rather that than be cold...
Jordan Spencer parabolic heater on Amazon. Cheaper and puts out much more heat.
Raise the temperature by 10 deg C ????
you must see the people coming who use this 😂
Coleman blackcat if you can find one.been using it for years.
We use to make these out of old can as a kid and call them Hobo heaters
Eliminates the danger of fuel burning products?. Guess what a candle is doing....... Correct burning fuel, that's what a fire is all about. burning up fuel
This is ridiculous do Nash not think about the safety aspect of this buy a good sleeping bag and thermal cover drink hot drinks and eat well and you can spend weeks in the cold no problem.
I go camping in winter and my sleeping bag is rated to -20, and is very toasty.
5 free tea lights....jog on you si
Try £4.99 and I might tempted (forget the free tea lights, they're easy enough to come by)
Bivvy heater. Bivvy lighter. Do not knock this over when you get a run. Not a great idea Nash.
YEAH REALLY BAD IDEA humans that have been safely utilising candles for heat since candles where invented.
because those tea lights 🔥! Not a well kept secret, we threw them into the caves of the Tora Bora to flush out last of al queda resistance…a dirty war man, dirty war!
Uco candle lantern all the Way! 1 candle burns for 7 hours! Nash lol
Nash bivvy heater 5 tea light candles WTF
189 PLN. You are greedy, very greedy.
Is this serious or an April fool.
The maths don't add up with 5 tealights. You can't get out more than you put in.
I’ve seen what a candle can do, up in flames not for me.
Nash pizza warmer. Flowerpots are just as good. Save ur money.
I'm sorry but if you stick a heater on with a open front shelter it doesn't warm it up let alone 5 tea lights couldn't justify £35 for something that costs penny's to make ......
Jack Harvey No need to apologise for expressing your opinion. Sure sign of insecurity.
Top product from a top company well done nash 👍 when is the hi protect tube out please 🤔
Basically a tin can for 35 quid.. Buy a can of beans, eat the beans and stab holes in it. There's ya bivvy heater.
Candles ???? Are you kidding ?
5 mins with the stove on full.. job done
This costs £35 ahhahahah r u joking
PMSL............and hardly safe, when it has huge holes in that if you knocked it over would allow the candle flames to light the whole bivvy up? Wtf?! It would be safer and a whole lot cheaper, to just use an old ceramic flower pot with a short, big candle in its base...............probably warmer, more light and if you did accidentally knock it over, the flame would be unlikely to reach the bivvy surface!
Seriously, is this a joke?..................
Iv bought one of these but paid £15 for it and im yet to test it as im gona buy bees wax candles instead as they are safe to be left on in the bivvy with u in it plus put some dirt in the bottom then place the tea lights in in case does get knocked over if anyone would like me to make a reviwe please comment give me a thumbs up and il do an honest one
@@OfficialNashTackle well i hope it will be then what the other reviwes have said i like going carping in all weathers yes ya stove can keep you warm yes there are easyer ways to heat ya bivvy but a good solid product was needed somthing safe maybe supplying bees wax candles with it would be a better idea and even dropping the price alittle would help. But as i say i will give you 100% honest fed back
A way to secure the heater to the ground could be to use 2 or 3 cheap tent pegs, the hook part through the holes at the base of heater.
@@taffman1 ya but if u have a fixed ground sheet like myself it wouldnt work that way maybe putting it in a semi deep metal dish with sand in the bottom
so over priced for 10'c of heat you have either got to have to much money to buy this or just plain crazy.when you can just buy a gas heater and a carbon alarm and stay alot warmer for less money
Candle Lantern £15 eBay
The nash bivvie heater £1045. 99
Wowzers, testing shows its a rip off, why bring out these brand damaging products, if id have bought one of these id of never bought nash again
