Rabbi Richman, as usual your explanations always add to my understandings of Torah. We prostrate a couple of times when dovining Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, but not during other services. Why is that? Since it truly shows a special connection to HaSh-m why not at other poignant tefilot? We do bow throughout numerous tefilot.
There have been times when I've felt a tefillah so strongly that I prostrate, but that's easy to do in the privacy of my home.
