I was bullied in school in 6th grade. My words were twisted and rumors spread that I had bed bugs, when in fact, I did not. Another one was that I liked a "popular" girl. I tried to play football at recess, and my hopes were shot down. I just brushed it off like it was nothing. I went home and didn't say anything. The only way I can explain it, is if I was a bottle. They just kept shaking me up and up. I felt like I was going to explode every day. I felt like I was going to snap, and people would get hurt. It came so close that I ended up pushing most people out of my life. By the age of 11 I was already having suicidal thoughts. The only reason I didn't was my family. As soon as the thought popped up, I thought of how my family would take it. This song speaks to me so much, it means a lot. The teachers did nothing, at all. I told my teacher what was happening, but not long after, they were more worried about me wearing a coat a lot. I hadn't harmed myself at all, yet they checked my arms for drug use, it in case I was slicing my wrist. It was the worst year of my life. I was the new kid in school, so of course I would be the target for extreme bullying. They didn't see how much it actually hurt me. They must've thought it was a sick joke. It went on for months. I was given nicknames, and people would avoid standing next to me. Others would tell me stand next to someone to get them to run away. I just kept brushing it off. I sometimes just wanted to end it. Most people think I'm being overdramatic, but imagine feeling no one in the world likes you, and you have only hatred. You go home and mostly do nothing, because you have no friends to hang out with. Then you just go to sleep to wake up again and go to school, just to have the same feelings again. Having a debate during class about whether or not you should end it. The pain was unbearable. If my parents wouldn't have moved me, just uprooted me from all my friends, people who actually like me, this never would have happened. I wouldn't know the pain I felt for those few months. They were the longest months of my life. It absolutely destroyed me. The way I was treated, it was no way to get treated, especially by an entire school. If you took the time to read this, thank you. It means so much. You hopefully now understand what I went through. The trouble is, I'm not the only one. Every 15 seconds, another teen kills themselves. Every 10 another kid is bullied. We need to stop this, and not by putting up more posters. They don't help, because I know what It feels like to get bullied. You feel ashamed and embarrassed. You don't want to call an anonymous help number. A suicide help hotline would do better. We need to get this out of schools and off the streets. If your being bullied, speak up. It doesn't help, you can't get help if you don't speak your mind. If you are bullying someone, you don't realize how much you're affecting them. If they were to commit suicide like I almost did, you won't forgive yourself. Please, we need to help kids that are bullied. Edit: What the fuck this blew up. This was two years ago. Since then, I'd like to announce how much better my life has gotten. I've got new friends who really have helped me, and I've moved back to my old home. Though I still have my shit times, I'm getting through it. It's such a relief. I actually feel alive. I thought I would never make it past 13, but I turned fifteen 2 weeks ago. I've realized I should count my blessings, not my faults. Please take this to heart, from someone who's been through it already: It DOES get better. Let my experiences help you, inspire you, and advise you. Look at everyone around you. At how much they really do care. It may seem hopeless, but look at even the smallest detail. Never suicide, keep living! There are people who love you so do it for them, the next person who bullies you just walk away and ignore them. Walk up to someone who is nice and ask to have lunch with them, it is possible to make lots of friends at horrible schools you just need to look out for the right people. I have never been bullied or punched but some kids are mean to me but stand up to them. My friend shouted at them because they were being mean and annoying and now the bully is leaving me and most people alone, if they say mean things to my face again it will be my turn to shout at them. You might not know but you can make lots of friends on the internet as well, try stay in contact with your friends you left and find someone good to talk to about your feelings. If you've never been bullied you wouldn't understand. The entire school were bullies. Even those who I had been friends with before turned around and went with the bullies because they had been friends with them longer. And I wasn't aloud on the internet back then. And walking away doesn't work, they just follow you. The teachers didnt do anything. It was torture. There weren't "nice people," and I had no access to my old friends period. Dude that is not true, a lot of people probably care, so many people most likely do, sometimes you just can't see that because of what bullies make you feel like, they make you feel like you don't deserve to be happy and hurt you by making you feel alone. There are people who care, you just need to know where to look.

Well, if you want, a good way to make things better for yourself, talk to a teacher or other family, I know that's the old fashion thing to do but it works, and if that doesn't seem to work, best thing I can think of, keep trying to find new friends no matter what people have said about you. They will never get the chance to see the real you if you hide your whole life.

I listened to this song for at least 3hrs a day for two weeks three years ago. Today, I listened to this song for the first time in three years. I still am connected to this through a friend who commited suicide last year and before she died,she sang this at her talent show with me. I will always be connected to this song, no matter what. I've been bullied about 2 times. *It happened when I was at my daycare, that my mother had brung me to because she was still so young to be having me at 16-17. So, she brung me there and then I started to get picked on and bullied. I know, I know, it is only daycare, but my mother brung me to a bad daycare. These two big boys, they started pushing me, teasing me, and calling me names. And when I was asleep, they would shake me, draw on my face, and do pranks on me.* The second was at my 5th grade class. (Just 2 years ago, not that long, I'm in 7th grade now.) *I was new and it was alright until I met these 2 girls, and 1 boy, so I had 3 bullies. They would take my things during class, and they would blame things on me. I was drawing a paper and my teacher caught me and then she ripped it up and threw it in the trash. Those three kids laughed at me and pointed at me. Then during recess, I told my teacher and then she called in ONE of my bullies. And then she said sorry to me. But then, she was lying. Then I had a colored pen that could change colors while I am writing with it. She, one of the bullies, stole it and I took it back. And then they bullied me more after I took it back and they were saying mean things to me after that. Then they were hitting me and I would just cry by myself in a corner, until my bestfriend comes along :) (She's now my bestfriend, she wasn't my bestfriend when I was getting bullied.)* These are my stories :D

This is amazing. I was bullied a lot when I was little. Kids are so mean these days. Some days it felt like it was me against the world. I was considering suicide, but that changed when my friends helped me threw the pain. I'm 13 now and have moved to a new state, town, and school. I'm glad my friends helped me otherwise I wouldn't be here now. I always try to keep a smile on my face.😊😅

I've got new friends who really have helped me, and I've moved back to my old home. Though I still have my shit times, I'm getting through it. It's such a relief. I actually feel alive. I thought I would never make it past 13, but I turned fifteen 2 weeks ago. I've realized I should count my blessings, not my faults. Please take this to heart, from someone who's been through it already: It DOES get better. Let my experiences help you, inspire you, and advise you. Look at everyone around you. At how much they really do care. It may seem hopeless, but look at even the smallest detail. Even the pettiest of things that make you happy for even a few seconds. Who's to say it's bad that that one little thing gets you through the day? Patience is key, don't rush into things. Contemplate your lifes good times, not the bad ones. Everyone has a future, but if you don't let yourself acknowledge that fact, then you won't. Edit 2: I just read through all of your replies. Some of you hated, and that's alright. I know it was long. But it's important to me. It has impacted my life so much that I still come to tears just thinking about it. But I'd rather focus on all of you that spent the time to give me your story as well. Never suicide, keep living! There are people who love you so do it for them, the next person who bullies you just walk away and ignore them. Walk up to someone who is nice and ask to have lunch with them, it is possible to make lots of friends at horrible schools you just need to look out for the right people. I have never been bullied or punched but some kids are mean to me but stand up to them. My friend shouted at them because they were being mean and annoying and now the bully is leaving me and most people alone, if they say mean things to my face again it will be my turn to shout at them. You might not know but you can make lots of friends on the internet as well, try stay in contact with your friends you left and find someone good to talk to about your feelings. I know you pushed through but it’s just advice if it happens again. Have a safe and happy life and day!
If you've never been bullied you wouldn't understand. The entire school were bullies. Even those who I had been friends with before turned around and went with the bullies because they had been friends with them longer. And I wasn't aloud on the internet back then. And walking away doesn't work, they just follow you. The teachers didnt do anything. It was torture. There weren't "nice people," and I had no access to my old friends period. Thank you anyway though!

*It happened when I was at my daycare, that my mother had brung me to because she was still so young to be having me at 16-17. So, she brung me there and then I started to get picked on and bullied. I know, I know, it is only daycare, but my mother brung me to a bad daycare. These two big boys, they started pushing me, teasing me, and calling me names. And when I was asleep, they would shake me, draw on my face, and do pranks on me.*
The second was at my 5th grade class. (Just 2 years ago, not that long, I'm in 7th grade now.)
*I was new and it was alright until I met these 2 girls, and 1 boy, so I had 3 bullies. They would take my things during class, and they would blame things on me. I was drawing a paper and my teacher caught me and then she ripped it up and threw it in the trash. Those three kids laughed at me and pointed at me. Then during recess, I told my teacher and then she called in ONE of my bullies. And then she said sorry to me. But then, she was lying. Then I had a colored pen that could change colors while I am writing with it. She, one of the bullies, stole it and I took it back. And then they bullied me more after I took it back and they were saying mean things to me after that. Then they were hitting me and I would just cry by myself in a corner, until my bestfriend comes along :) (She's now my bestfriend, she wasn't my bestfriend when I was getting bullied.)*

I have been bullied thorough 1st 6th 9th grade people have called me retarded and stupid. and hateful and made fun of one my friends because she went to the home coming with me and I got pissed what's wrong with me but I am sad people have made fun of me because I say things a certain way that make sound stupid and I don't do that on purpes

This is amazing. I was bullied a lot when I was little. Kids are so mean these days. Some days it felt like it was me against the world. I was considering suicide, but that changed when my friends helped me threw the pain. I'm 13 now and have moved to a new state, town, and school. I'm glad my friends helped me otherwise I wouldn't be here now. I always try to keep a smile on my face.😊😅
