- Sharing a review of my Hermes Garden Party 36 tote. This bag has been in my collection for more than a year. I didn't include it in my bag collection, i can't remember why...maybe i should do an updated collection video..!

Love this review video. This is the most comprehensive review that I have ever seen for GP. :) I have a GP36 in Orange Poppy. I don't use it for work though, as I walk around a lot and I find it is a bit heavy even empty. My fav work tote is still my Neverfull MM. When you compare the prices, I think you should use the price for the Neverfull MM full leather one, which is EURO 1,490. Well, GP is still a lot more expensive regardless. Keep more videos coming please. :)

Thanks for your detailed review that convinced me to buy gp36 and all I needed to do was to go to store checking and trying out the bag. Checked online first, there was only the green colour available and I preferred the classic colour Etoupe or Black. I went to Hermes today with no intention to buy nor any expectation to have the colour I wanted however surprisingly there was one Etoupe on reserve and the customer couldn’t make to store today. I love this colour more than black so with no second thought and bought it together with 2 twillys for the handles. Thanks again!

Great video. Thanks for posting. I am considering this bag option (in a darker color) for work as I am tired of the Neverfull. Funny, I also carry a spare "plastic bag" in all my purses in case I need to place them on the floor at restaurants, etc.

Ohhh my...thank you for the tip my Birkin is in off white ( crae how they calll it I think) and yes I love love the color but sometimes if it's a long trip I think twice . I do not usually baby my bags but yup having the dust bag is much practical than what I am doing ... silly me I bought a Goyard Tote not the St Louis it's the reversible one and I put it inside that bag before I put it in the overhead bin. I wish I came across your channel much earlier😌. subscribing now😊🌺

I own the same bag except in 30 for nearly 2 years. I used only 3 times and the reason is that so afraid to get dirt on it😆 after watching this video I think I shall use it more frequent in this year. 🤗🤗🤗

By far my fav bag review! It has always been on my mind to start with a garden tote, as Hermes would b the Mercedes of all my handbags. But every time I think of getting one, I keep wondering if I should go full leather or half. Although yes, thanks to Chase Amie, I might get a Tory burch tote. Does longchamp count as a tote? Lol, I have so many 😂😂😂
Georgia Kaounis ohh!!! Longchamp totes! I have them too! Super versatile ! I'll call them the Hondas of totes, most people have them, affordable and extremely functional!

thank you. No it doesn't have any clips inside to add straps. It's a very ladylike tote...pink makes it even more sweet!
I often hear it's better to buy cheaper purses in pops of color or less neutral/dark colors. What's defined as cheaper is of course individual. I'm guessing that's part of the reason for the popularity of the Gucci disco and the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Macs.

Christine Chua I've seen the gold and I won't consider that a light colour - I'd say medium toned. Definitely better than my pink 😁

Hello Kat, I am a new subscriber and really love your Hermès handbag reviews. I am thinking about a 36 Garden Party and found this very helpful. Quick question...can this bag fold flat for storage in a carry-on roller bag during travel? I love that my Louis Vuitton totes can fold flat for a short period of time without ruining the handbag. I love the Chanel Classic tote, but it can’t be packed easily because it is too structured.
S.E. Fenno hi dear! It can’t be folded flat because of the base. And I wouldn’t recommend flatting it like an LV Tote because it will crease the leather

I think it is brilliant that you bring the dust bag. My hair salon gives you a bag for your bag if you are getting color and I saved one and keep it for emergencies. It is a thicker plastic but it rolls up thinner than a dust bag. The only thing about doing it that way is you must make sure the plastic didn't actually get any hair color on it. Before Covid they did a recycling thing where they reused them which was gross but now they are back to one pers a customer and one day I asked for an extra and tucked it in my bag. But the dust bag is more elegant and I wondered what you did when traveling. I couldn't imagine shoving that bag under the seat in front of me. It would be a crime against fashion. Anyway, I know this is an old video but I am in the market now, so thank you. :))

I went to the boutique and tried it on.Only 1 thing that made me hesitate is the handles. They are too short for my shoulders espacially when I wear jacket. The one I saw was in red and limited edition with spacial lining inside. Now I felt bad that I didnt buy it. It was 2750€ while the normal one is 2450 €.
Ratiya Lalala that's true, if I wear a thick blazer or jacket, it doesn't really fit .

i prefer the 36 for work...but that's because i don't carry a lot of stuff on a daily basis...a 36 would be too much for me....for me, i'd go with a 30 for day-to-day
