Jack up each side at the rear and you will have ALOT of clearance with your ratchet and bit it will save you the frustration ALSO the THREADED insert goes on the carpet side NOT the fender! If you put it on the fender side I noticed it won’t always thread right and you’ll get a huge gap towards the top!

Having also read the instructions which call for removing the screws and the bumper clip for the rear guards, I am wondering why you bothered removing them if you were not going to proceed with cutting the insider fender liner as per the instructions. That is, the instructions call for reinstalling those 2 screws after cutting the liner and before installing the splash guard, So couldn't one just (1) remove the bottom bumper clip, (2) create starter holes by inserting the push-pin into the dimples, (3) insert the spring clips, (4) install the splash guard using the supplied self tapping screws and then (5) reinsert the pushpin into the bottom of the bumper?

Is there a part 2 video or is that it? If not just repeat on the other side and all good to go huh? Thanks for the help. Im gonna try this when I get home.

Yeah its just the same way on the other side. It did prematurely cut out when the battery died. The just of what needs to be done is in the video. And that's what really matters. Easy install when you know what your doing. Gotta love youtube!!!

Hey Thomas, thanks for the video it was really helping.
After you put the metal clips over the dimples, do you screw the rear splash guard screw in, and then just put the bottom clip back in?

How are they working out for you and why didn't you color match them to car or would you recommend it?

Why what's the difference? They're plastic mudflaps OEM or eBay. you think one's going to work better than the other?

@@Keeping-It-Real-55 perhaps. However ebay ones break and many times poor quality.
