My honors physics class this year introduced the "flipped learning" concept. This means that all of our learning is done completely at home online watching lecture videos and time in class is spent doing labs and what would be homework. Our teacher assigns us to watch a specific one of these videos almost every night as they go along with the book we use. These videos are great and really help me learn what the topics are about! Way better than my actual teacher does!
Coming from the future 2020, and I just want to say this channel is incredible!!!! I’m taking AP Physics this year, and these videos are extremely helpful! Thank you so much!!
By a clear mile this is the best online resource I have found for any class! I love the combination of cheesiness, humor, and focus on material. Thank you so much for making these! Keep up the incredible work, I will refer you to everyone I know!
Haha! Absolutely! It should also say you are the certified teacher of three unique students who have completed every physics class every made by flipping physics: Billy, Bobby, and Bo! Haha!
I updated one of my videos today to make it 50 seconds shorter. How? I fast forwarded through my running. Why? I mean really, it's only 50 seconds, right? Well, if you consider the video has been watched for 7863 minutes and I reduced the video to 93.3% of its original length, if this video had originally been 50 seconds shorter, that would have meant people would have had to watch the video for 522 less minutes and still learned just as much. That's worth it to me. If you have a link to the video, please update that link. Introduction to Displacement and the Difference between Displacement and Distance
holy moly saying what the letters mean all the time is GENIUS! this is why i have to strain to understand when my physics prof talks because when the formulas are new to students it is hard to follow along when your brain is still trying to remember what x is!
I would suggest my website instead of the playlist. It includes all the playlists and each website also has my lecture notes. Good luck in the spring! www.flippingphysics.com/algebra.html
Omg your style of teaching is very very awesome sir . I am from India and we are mugging up the concept because of not correct understanding but now i finder your channel . Keep posting more videos sir . ❤️ From India , Tamil nadu .
I'm brand new to this. Literally just stumbled upon your videos tonight! And they are excatly what I'm looking for to change things up in the classroom. My question is, what do I do for those who don't have access to a computer and/or internet at home?
I sent a letter home to be signed by the parents to make sure they had internet access. For students who do not have access at home, there is always before school, after school and lunch; perhaps in your room or the school library. They might also be able to go to the public library. These are great questions to ask of the community at The Flipped Learning Network (www.flippedclassroom.org).
Learning physics on my own and I've found your videos very helpful for learning the basics in a visual way. I get to see alot of the concepts acted out in real life. Gives me some ideas to try to formulate my own experiments to internalize the concepts better. Also you mentioned , "reading" in the beginning is there a textbook that accompanies this, if so would love to know the name of it , thank you.
I am an Indian boy i Shaw your video first time I know English very well and I fully understood your writing on the board with enjoy but not understand your speaking language because our English language is same but speaking is different 🇮🇳👌
finally! I learned this class when I was a highschool student(there are 17~19 years old students in highschool in Korea) and I think I can watch the videos more easily from now on.
Wow I am from india and this video is awesome . I love your teaching sir . I am also having an educational channel and i am sure i will made videos like you which engages alot of students . Thanks for all your effort sir . Keep rocking
Good question. The answer is no. Velocity is the rate of change in displacement, and it, too, is a vector and includes direction. In order for an object's velocity to be uniform (constant), that object cannot speed up or slow down (change magnitude of velocity) and it cannot change direction. In other words, constant velocity requires going at the same speed in a straight line.

What an awesome comment. Thank you so much! Perhaps "the combination of cheesiness, humor, and focus on material" should go on my business card?

Thanks. So glad to help out.
I start this class in the spring, and I'm glad I found this whole playlist. It's going to help a ton!

You are very welcome.
The way he makes the students make common mistakes rlly helps when some people get confused. Good video
So glad you appreciate it!
Taking PHY 121 and I don't know anything about physics. So this Channel and organization is a blessing

(glad you agree)
My teacher literally bases his entire ap physics lessons around u, legit w teacher
Thank you verrrryyy much! You are the one of the best physics teacher I've ever encountered!! 🤗🤩
Wow, thanks!
Our teacher asked us to watch this for our physics class! Thank you! Super informative!
Glad to help you learn!
Such an incredible video. Truly helped me understand the topic. Thank you. God Bless.
