This Mule Team is made with CPM 15V steel. 15V is an excellent steel with over three percent carbon and 15% vanadium giving it the highest wear resistance of any cold work tool steel. It also boast extreme sharpness and edge retention. Spyderco utilizes a special heat treating protocol developed by custom knife maker Shawn Houston to optimize the performance of the steel. It is paired with these incredibly beautiful @fatcarbon Nebula scales designed and made by Philip Stephens @hazy_design_studio.
