That beach looks amazing. Nobdy smimming though. Perhaps strong currents or sharks in the water. ? Very nice Driving video. Is there any ND filters to this Lukas camera to get rid of sun glare/reflections ?

@alpha, the icy cold Benguela ocean current flows northwards up the westcoast of South Africa. It's origin is at the south pole of Antartica. With water temperature averaging 16 degrees celsius. Hence the beach is ideal for a relaxing walk. Because of the extreme skylight in Cape Town my camera's CPL filter struggle to get rid of harsh morning reflections. I tried different angles, but on overcast days I get better results. GoPro's has overheating problems in our warm climate.

@@traficamcapetownsouthafrica the reflections was not a big issue to me. I think the video still looks good. Sometimes a film maker has to struggle with thesse things. Ice cold water i see. But still plenty of beach to walk/jogging on. The beach must be at least 10 km long i guess. Keep up the the good filming you do it well.

@alpha, the sunsets at duynefontein is amazing hence so many people choose to stay along the coastline. It''s a long hike along the beach and plenty of space for the dog to go along.. The drive was a spur of the moment event am I'm glad you enjoyed the journey. If only a camera lens could replicate the weather of the day and the smell of the ocean. 😀
