While voice acting in doors would be REALLY cool, it would also sort of take away the 'horror' aspect of doors.. Imagine figure in the library going like, " WHERE ARE YOU! I WILL DEVOUR YOU! " It would give the 'Disney villain/monster' feeling.
Or... Some kind of..

maybe give voice actors to the ones that are friendly? or maybe actually scrap the entire thing

Something I do recommend is accessibility settings and just more settings in general. You can’t really optimize your doors experience if you have a bad pc or monitor. Not to mention I’m not too sure the game even has a seizure warning. So the extended settings I think would be a welcome addition to the game.
There are seizure warnings, the moment you enter the game itself and under the games description I think I don't remember
the shears were gonna be used to cut vines on greenhouse chests but it was basically just a lockpick and so it was scrapped (temporarily)

the doors devs tend to split one entitie with multiple roles into multiple entities with one role each
like how dread is being PLANNED to replace ambush for anticheat and how void replaced glitch for placing players near their party
dread would be a hardcore name for an entity
no void didnt, there was this one time in the hotel+ I was playing with friends and they were ahead of me but then glitch suddenly teleported me to them leading me to take damage SOMEHOW
@@Crim67 void doesn’t completely replace Glitch, but only take away Glitch’s role as the one to take players to their friends, Glitch is still in the game as a fail save for rooms that fail to load however
It would be cool if the courtyard had liek a shed where you could find some items
I think it would be cool if there was just some sheers laying down in the courtyard and if you pick them up you can trim some of the bushes and get an achievement like how you get an achievement for buying from Jeff
If they added a skin update I would make all the entity’s look like an anime character

Fun fact: the shears are actually under the floor in the courtyard. You need hacks to access them, however. They will probably be added officially in the part 2 of the hotel+ update they mentioned.

If anybody is thinking of bringing vent rooms back , just remember people used to get really mad when rush would rebound back because the next room was a vent room.

@@DenarWasTaken that isn't really what I'm talking about , I'm saying rush would rebound back in vent rooms causing people to die in the earlier room , it was also a free hiding spot from ambush/rush , but that just made the game to easy

I have a idea that's possible why so the bushes have keys in them but only one guiding light will show u the sheers because in the garden the door is locked so u grab the sheers and cut some bushes wow we found a key u opened the locked door then Ur out and a mob the busher it will find u its basically timothy
like its in the bushes its a little bush but don't think its nothing its very strong it will take 30 health from Ur health bar it has little orange eyes its smaller then then the actual bush there eyes glow and watch out for there bite those are my ideas for a future update captainjackattack tell people about this great idea

We recently started playtesting the upcoming DOORS update. Working on patching bugs, polishes, and also animations (we hired a new animator a while ago! so far they reanimated three cutscenes).
However, I do want to mention that we're saving some content originally intended for this update for another (would arrive after this update), as we either couldn't get it done in time and just weren't satisfied with some of it.
The bulk of the content is already done, so there's not really any point in making you guys wait anymore. Plus, instead of getting all the content in one day, and then having to wait months for the next floor, you get another update quickly after. I think it's for the best.
We should be able to announce a release date soon! If everything goes smoothly, it should land in this month. Stay tuned!! 👁

Voice acting is now a modifier (it was in the April fools 2024 before it was added to the modifiers menu and players could get the Voice acting just getting in a elevator or creating one without modifiers it will be still here Voice acting but it was really a April fools joke ths is reality)
