    This looks like something I would like to try with both a chicken and a turkey. A Whole lot of spices going on in this joker. I know it's gotta be good. Cheers Jeff and Merry Christmas to you both.

      I think we will be too. Smoked turkeys are the best. Juicier and more flavorful than oven or fried for sure.

    Thanks Jeff for changing up the way you did your turkey with the home made jerk seasoning. I've watched so many turkey videos' lately that I think I'll have a cheeseburger for Thanksgiving!!! This bird looked delicious and yes I could see the injection and juiciness! Hope You, Tami and the family have an awesome Thanksgiving!!

    Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well, no mater how hard they are trying to take it away from us. Brining is the best thing I have ever did to get a juicy bird every time. That Jerk Seasoning looks like the bomb. I was curious how all them Habanaro's would turn out in that Jerk mix. Looks pretty tasty from here.

    I do like a good jerk. 😂 Ok that came out wrong, but the jerk rub looks fantastic and man what a juicy bird. I like spicy so the habaneros are great. Awesome video Jeff! Hope y’all have a great thanksgiving!

    • @Armadillopepper
      @Armadillopepper  3 роки тому

      I've still got the Pit Boss, but have been frustrated with it shutting down during cooks, and then sometimes the heat gets way too high.

    • @david_reynolds3660
      @david_reynolds3660 3 роки тому

      Good to know. How long did it take those issues to show itself? I have seen you use the ASmoke. The small one. But it is now being sold for $39.00 and that prices scares me. And. Yes, you are in their ads!!

    • @Armadillopepper
      @Armadillopepper  3 роки тому +1

      Please send the link. The Pit Boss showed those issues in 9 months or so. Some folks say it is damp pellets. They could be right, but I don't have that problem with ASMOKE. I cook a lot and the pellets don't sit around long.

      When I see it on FB or UA-cam again, I will try to remember. I love my PBC. Just got a new one. But looking at having a pellet pooper also. Maybe a GMG.

    That looks good. I hope you had help eating it. You wouldn't want to get burned out on turkey before thanksgiving. I'm not sure what day I'll make our holiday meal. My wife has to work Wed. and Thursday night.

    • @Armadillopepper
      @Armadillopepper  3 роки тому +1

      If you make UA-cam videos you have to get them published no later than the weekend before and better yet, 2 weeks before (for views). By the time Thanksgiving rolls around I'm burnt out on turkey. Making a Prime Rib for Tami and me, and a Cajun turkey for the kids 😀.

    why not use a pan and collect all the liquid

    • @Armadillopepper
      @Armadillopepper  3 роки тому +1

      There is no room under the grates, but if you wanted the juices you might be able to put ot on a rack inside a pan. There might be 1" clearance before the turkey hits the top of this pellet grill. Of course you could spatchcock it also to get more clearance.
