@@gracieg7601Kids deserve privacy. They’re human too. Two might be a little young to be locking doors since something could happen, but it’s obvious she was just having fun.

The fact she wasnt scared says A LOT. I locked my bedroom door at 15, bc my mom would bust in randomly without knocking, and that little act of wanting privacy got my door taken off its hinges. This is a good lesson in how privacy is important. She still let you in, knowing you were kinda playing around. Seeing a toddler not be scared means the world to people like me, who were hit and got the "soap in the mouth" treatment for just being little kids.

I know a way for when my little bro locks the door himself, All you have to do is grab a card like any card you don't use anymore theb slide it through the side of the door the door will open. Hopefully it works and helps bc it does for me 😅 ❤

When i learned how to lock doors my parents were carefull to not let me alone since i didnt know how to unlock it, i remember once i did to my room and start to cry couse i didnt know why the door wouldnt open😂
While the hey damn near triggered my fight or flight, it’s very refreshing to see the kid feels safe even when that tone of voice is being used. Definitely shows comfort levels and how nice they are treated
