Bob Jenkins , Benny Parsons , Ned Jarrett and Jerry Punch , they were so good at calling the races and had so much fun. Fan's were packed in that place. Those days are long gone. Thanks for the old video !
It is amazing listening to a race broadcast without the announcers screaming and babbling nonsensically. NBC/FOX, watch any 1990’s era ESPN broadcast during your production meetings for a tutorial on how to call a race.
What a good time for tv! The Braves and Nascar were well known to me and most Americans. I was only 12 or 13 but there was a lot of good about those days!
RIP Benny and Bob. Those three were so good together. Funny, the only real wreck happened on lap 1. Cool to see Rick Mast lead some laps. Go Rusty. As a fan I only got to see the later years. Where he struggled just to win one more race.
It looked to me like Ricky mistimed the start and got a slight jump, then stacked up the outside lane when he backed off to make sure Ernie was first to the line, triggering the pileup

@@charliesmith5545 slot of people don't know it but after Davey got killed Ford wanted Robert Yates to go after Earnhardt but he remained loyal to Childress could you imagine the intimidator in the 28 car, but Ernie was a great choice also.

yep, this is why i hate dale jr's announcing
How to entertain the nascar viewer. How to keep viewer engaged when the cars string out and there’s nothing to see on track
It's almost like these boys knew the attraction was the race, not them

Who’s here after the announcement of NWS that it will be back?
2:52:11 "we wanted to talk with Dale Earnhardt but he left the track immediately" I wonder why he did that lol
Maybe he wanted to catch the end of the Braves/Rockies Game!

Irvan would have won tons of races in that 28 car ,Earnhardt might not be a seven time champion had Irvan not been injured.
Ernie Irvan would have dominated in the mid and late 90s and may have been Jeff Gordon's biggest rival during that era!
@@andywarren5905 yeah Ernie was a hell of a driver, Earnhardt may not have won his 7th championship in 94 if Irvan had not been hurt.
Stop worrying about adding more road courses bring back north wilkesboro, rockingham please.
Wow, looked like Bill Elliot brake checked Dale Earnhardt on the start, causing that crash. I'm sure he hated that 3 car!
Gotta love mono sound. I have air pods on with only sound in one of them. Ugh
Rusty always trying to act hard.
Fun Fact: Bubba Wallace was born 5 days after the 1993 Tyson Holly Farms 400 occurred
That's too bad.
He won today
ernie irvan was more talnted than davey allison
How LOL
Jacaso Asheland They didn’t cal him swervin Ervin for nothing.
They were both awesome drivers.
We never seen the full potential of either driver in that car.... unfortunately
