Great review. But you didn't mention JBL Free left earbud drops signal seriously that is not acceptable. Any suggestions ?
Thanks! I actually did mention the signal drops but my comments had to be measured, as the vast majority of true wireless earbuds suffer from signal drops in public places.
It’s not just public places. I live in the country with no neighbors and I can sit still with my phone in my lap and the left earbud cuts out several times before I can get through one song. It is unacceptable.
Just got one and it's unbearable. The left earbud disconnects a lot.
Anybody knows how to fix the signal drop from left ear?
@@anibalmunoz7508 you can't fix it. It's a hardware issue. JBL silently fixed this with a newer version called JBL Free X. Contact them and demand for yours to be replaced with this new version. It's not exactly a 2nd generation product. It's exactly the same except for fixing the problem with the left bud disconnects. Goodluck!
Interesting review! I'm still not sure about 'true wireless' - is the connection between the earpieces stable? I have some Bose SoundSport (the wired wireless!) for out on the bike and they're excellent
321bytor Thanks! yea those are reliable and sound great too. The connection between these buds are quite typical of true-wireless. great indoors but slightly choppy outdoors, more so in crowded places.
Target had the JBL's priced wrong on the (locked) self. They honored the price. They are currently on sale for $75...I got them for $50. 😁🤑😁

. Don't get the jbl free. I have them and they are not that good. When you put them in your ears they are constantly cutting out and there is no way to tell why they cut out. They will cut out from you literally taking just a few steps or turning your head to the left or right to look. It gets annoying alot. The sound quality is not just the best either. You have to almost push the earbud all the way in your ear just to hear the bass.

I just bought the JBLGEN2 and so far I am enjoying them the sound is good and for the price I was thinking very hard should I get them or pass and I got them so far not a bad choice I like how they have different way's of comfort I have not tried the Jeybird yet and so far I don't think I ever will the cost is 175$ when the jbl are 145$ so yeah o I did get a scare the second day the right ear bud did not want to charge that did scared me but I tried hours later I just moved it around and it started to work again and the other issue I have is when im on the train and on a call the other person can not hear me and tell me they can hear the back round noise but not me but I have that issue frum what I understand is with all my bluetooth and that's while both have used other phone's and bluetooth
All jbl needs is a better design department

What true wireless would you recommend me if I'm not a basehead. I currently use a wired duo ba driver earphones. I like my mids and highs for clearer and crisper vocals in voice. Could settle with average base
Samuel Lim Wei Siang those JBL are nice I just bought myself one last night. And they are COMFORTABLE... before this i had the Jabra 65t and wore it for one days worth of work (8hrs) and with in the 1st hour it started hurting my ears. . . I guess for me the best option was comfort .
Like jaybird have way more customisation then jbl, so if you want clearer and crisper vocals than you can crank it up with the app and it makes more differences than the video is showing

I agree with Aaron....Jaybird Run's have horrible connection issues. I have a pair and I'm not impressed with them at all. The sound quality is just ok, not great, and they're bulky in the ears. I have the older Jaybird Bluebuds and they are far superior. I'd like to try the JBL's, they always make good quality items.

I’ve been looking at almost all the true wireless and it seems it’s safe to say that they are not good yet and should wait until they get better. I’m looking for best sound quality (base)and that look good. I like the look of jaybird but hate the app, I like to connect to my gear s3. I bought the bose as well but hate how big they are and have no noise canceling. My only choose left is the iconx. Hopefully they have good sound. If none reach my expectations I’ll return them all and go back to semi wireless
There's still the Jabra Elite 65t and Beoplay E8. Those ones are worth a try too

Iconx suck. I miss my airpods where you can use only one headphone at a time if in case you couldnt or didn't want to use both at the same time.

Yes they are.... but the JBL FREE it doesn’t sound Good and doesn’t Work outside. constantly disconect. I chaged 5 times for new ones ... at he end I change it for AIRPODS... the AirPods works great inside and outside. My advice, buy Airpods
