I think Bill Bruford is using five octabans in this track, so I’ve adapted these parts to my set of three toms and based the alternations mainly on pitch direction (and used the bongo drum in place of a roto tom).

If I remember my Modern Drummer articles from 40 years ago correctly...Bruford bought some of the percussion at a tourist shop, cheap noisemakers, etc., and never muffled anything but his bass.
Really great cover, brings back good times.
