Alhaitham's VA is really BLESSED. Good voice, talented, iconic roles, really smart, and he's VERY HANDSOME too. Like... spare some of your blessings for us, please.
I guess jp va, or we called them seiyuu, theyve always used their normal voice to act the character's voice, they just made some different intonation or accent. Not like eng va who likely making a different sound tone on their character voices and normal voices .
I find it hilarious how across the different dubs (not sure abt CN though, so correct me), the Kaveh VAs all play the game, said among their fav characters is Alhaitham. The Alhaitham VAs meanwhile don't play the game (or not as much), but really liked Kaveh. And the KR and EN VAs also ship Haikaveh very much. Personality-wise and vibe-wise though I do think the JP va is the closest to canon Alhaitham behavior.
I always love Ayumu in these types of VA interviews/talk show type interactions. It always seems he's genuinely interested in the media they're talking about and he did his homework on the subject so he's able to talk smoothly about the characters and story, and if needed he adds interest to the conversation. He also banters naturally with the other VAs in a fun way. A pro through and though🏆
I play in both JP and EN. I like the way Ume-chan delivers Alhaitham's voice, like he's cold but still has this hidden soft voice in it. While the EN he's more like a lazy big cat. Both are amazing and I love him in all dub (I wanna hear him in CN and KR too next time)
Umehara's wife is so lucky to marry such a man like him with that deep voice and a gentleman too. Wish I could marry a guy like Umehara Yuichiro too but I'm such an awkward introvert lmao
@@cawmellian3394 u can say it on ur own personal acc btw but I know that this certain shipper always feeling entitled and superior they think everyone ships the same thing as them too LOL
wait. I imagine genshin translation team translates from CN original audio right?? So alhaitham's name in the spanish translation is Alhacén and ive never understood why until hearing the pronunciation here D: I haven't heard it in CN but im assuming its pretty similar
some Sumeru characters have different pronounciation in the japanese voiceover. Cyno's name is "Sèno"(the è is read like "net" or "blessed"), Dehya's name is "Desya", Alhaitham's name is "Aruhaizen", etc. I think some characters in Fontaine and Natlan are also like this I'm guessing they made it like this so that it's easier to pronounce for the actors. if it can make the recording process easier the JP fandom doesn't really care how the devs decide the name pronounciation
They really need to fire the one who insist on forcing Kaveh to Alhaitham. It's no wonder why Alhaitham has less appearance despite being a five star and played a big role during the AQ. All for the sake of their self-insert.
@@m.1sha Have you played all the events and sq after that? Even CN players complained that the Sumeru characters aren't the same after the aq. They have also been gatekeeping Alhaitham so that he will only interact with Kaveh and other male Sumeru characters. It's no wonder why Kaveh is the most hated playable character.
@@mira-uf1ie That's just how it goes.. Dude had his time to shine in his own region and that's that. Once Natlan is over they're gonna get tossed story wise as well. Is it really that big of a deal to whine about? What does he have to offer in current story.. He's not a traveling companion. This isn't anything new in genshin.
@@m.1sha Excuses. Just because Sumeru aq has ended does not mean that he has to appear less than Kaveh, who is a four star and has no role during the aq. They need to stop tying him to Kaveh every damn time just because a fujoshi writer forced her sick fantasy on him. It's no wonder why Kaveh is the most hated playable character, because the fujoshi writer forced him everywhere at the cost of other Sumeru characters.

damn! even his normal voice sounds handsome
his real face even handsome too

The fact that he's usually unhinged in public shows takes the cake. I remember him perving on stage during a Goblin Slayer interview.

I LOVE how the there's a similar pattern for both vas on every dub, i find it very entertaining
@@kyle_8perhaps it’s hoyo’s ability to find va’s that not only fit the character, but each other so that it’s consistent throughout dubs
Ume-chan is just perfect as Alhaitham and can't imagine other seiyuu to portray him that's why I love Alhaitham and my fave Genshin character.

Thanks so much for the translation. The way he decided to plunge from so high up was very alhaitham like.

Ume-chan is so precious 🤧❤
Dude Umehara-san voice deep as the ocean. One of my fav male VA!!! Tsuda Kenjiro-san and Kamiya Hiroshi-san also one of my favs!
"So for Kaveh, they want me to make him sounds a bit different" yeah haikaveh, we know it 😌
they genuinely do have a good relationship, this type of bosom friends trope is what i live for (though in my headcanon they are def an item lmao)
Celestia looks huge from here
