We have learnt this story in English course during our 10th standard but even after knowing the story from beginning to end I still want to look.... that's how much English fairy tales have power on me😍
That was a remarkable classic fairy tale. Calabas, a short creature who is the owner of an unknown island, and Ariel, the water spirit that is a shapeshifter to take any form of mysterious creatures around the island and the seashore. They help the outcast king get his revenge against the nobles who betrayed him and his daughter the day they showed no compassion and sympathy to them, even before the sea storm caused them to shipwreck and get stranded in the middle of nowhere. Yes, the king's brother and the other traitors deserved to be punished for what they had done in the past. They learned their lessons and received forgiveness, and then Prince Ferdinand and Princess Miranda got engaged of marriage. So they all sailed back home to Milan, giving Calabas back his island and he took good care of it and all of its natural habitats. Of course, Ariel had served the king faithfully and was set free too.
