i know its been 5 months, but first of all peep was never off key, everything was just sung to perfection, second of all he was very creative with the notes in that specific key creating different melodies sometimes overlaying each other (notice the counter melody to the top melody in the hook) and often sung in harmony, also he filled out the frequencies well, meaning having different things going on on the low and all the way to the high end all complementing each other, and last but not least he sang with a lot of passion, putting a lot of effort into making his voice sound unique and portray very clear emotions, which is much harder then just hitting the note. dude was just a natural

The unique layers on his tracks were always super well done too. Something you don't here too often. After going through his bio for years now, I find myself often mentally tracking the timing and notes he uses in order to better understand the technical aspects. Its always unconventional and so unique its hard to wrap my head around. Which is pretty crazy seeing as the beats are mostly trap.
