My mother passed away some years ago. She was a devout Christian When a visiting minister or evangelist gave a sermon at the church, mom never gave anything in the offering that was taken up for the visiting minister. However, she would talk to them after the service and personally hand them a few hundred dollars. I guess mom knew what she was doing.

Money and Church Operation is always a tough subject, well done! I returned to the Lord late in life. I was so excited when I brought my very first Tithe ever to the Pastor. He tossed it aside as if it were nothing n proceeded to tell me how he was not swayed by money. I was devastated and felt no blessing or honour on my Offering or validation. I determined then that whatever I did I would do unto the Lord first n if the Pastor got onboard great. If not, it would be between the Lord n him. My focus was for the Lord. After that I enquired of the Lord or Holy Spirit on how much to give and to who. It really helped me to learn to hear. Everything is turned for good and His Glory.
Thank you thank you so much for doing that. Thank you for your “yes” to Jesus. Thank you that you kept going despite the self-boasting obstacles you faced from those that should have been leading your heart in the way to go like Jesus. Your story might seem small, but it sounds like the story of a sister I will one day meet in Heaven because you didn’t give up and stay in the opposite direction. You came back.

Love your passion and conviction on this matter that is happening a lot. Had an experience in a church where it was said the more you give the more you will be blessed. Spirit in me was not comfortable, grieved and i thought what if someone has no money to give, does that mean God is not going to bless them? One Sunday, after hearing this for several weeks, I heard an audible voice that said "do you think you can buy my gifts with money". Told this to the pastor and it stopped for 2 weeks but started again.!

Those are tough battles to fight. The enemy is playing off your vulnerabilities by shaming you for not having enough. Holy Spirt prompts you differently. His voice sounds more like a peaceful strength if He’s telling you to give. Or He sounds like a rumbling joy. He knows your finances. Some churches I’ve been to has you go to the front and place your offering up there so everyone knows who gave and who didn’t. I would tithe online at this one church I used to go to and the pastor would always make announcements to give special blessing and prayers over those who brought money to tithe. He didn’t pray for the online blessings. That made me feel like I was being shamed for not loving God. God knows our heart. There are people with lots of money who don’t consider sharing. You might be in training to receive finances for the Kingdom. You passion to help could be spilling over so strong that it’s gonna tip the bowl over in Heaven and God is gonna pour His finances thru your love. You’re being trained to be trusted like Joseph.
Thank you for sharing that. We should know Jesus enough not to pay for miracles. We should also seek Him to learn the mysteries of The Kingdom- like tangible results and the importance of obedient *sacrifice* . Reminds me of our current celebration, Purim- King Saul taking a few of the Amalekites animals when he was told to kill everything, just because he was too cheap to pay for his own sacrifices😂 Whyyyy did he think God would not notice?! A healthy, righteous, rightly divided perspective is definitely needed in the Body. Listen out to hear if that minister you mentioned has any other in-depth teachings on the money subject; and if there are arrested demons in those deliverances agonizing over those teachings and over the people sowing. some not too many years ago, a ministet stood up during conference anf asked us all to give and said take ouy your $20.00 or hundred dollar bills to sow etc,. i wasnt offended but I really do.not like glazing words to fleece the flock to give so we will be blessed and there goes a lot of scriptures guilting people to give, but my heart felt iy removes people from hearing what God would have them give, everyone wave whatever amount of bill in theit hand before putting.in offering bucket. i really hate it, the whole meeting was hype up like that, it felt so much carnal then honoring God.
Its heart when you love the church and the teaching but when the money part comes its like an own preaching. You are hungry for God and you trust the leader that he has it from God. 😢 I always felt the manipulation. But when you are the only how have not the hand up with money and you dont receive the blessing prayer. Uhhhhhhhh. We grove in spiritual things. Today I am relaxed😊

I've seen... literally.. people spend the last money they had to an offering, but had no money to buy much needed shoes. I'm sure that sometimes God can ask us to have faith and do that, but I'm sure you get what I'm getting at. The poor... they'll give the food money for their children. Where is the glory to the Lord in that? I'm not against sowing. Sowing is fabulous... when you're doing it cheerfully and as led by HOly Spirit. Thank you Pastor Michael. I really, really needed to hear this tonight. I am being tormented by not having enough to give and told over & over to just give up. That God only helps people that can advance His Kingdom and I am just a poverty stricken loser. Again thank you for posting this video. God Bless you and your family
Those are tough battles to fight. The enemy is playing off your vulnerabilities by shaming you for not having enough. Holy Spirt prompts you differently. His voice sounds more like a peaceful strength if He’s telling you to give. Or He sounds like a rumbling joy. He knows your finances. Some churches I’ve been to has you go to the front and place your offering up there so everyone knows who gave and who didn’t. I would tithe online at this one church I used to go to and the pastor would always make announcements to give special blessing and prayers over those who brought money to tithe. He didn’t pray for the online blessings. That made me feel like I was being shamed for not loving God. God knows our heart. There are people with lots of money who don’t consider sharing. You might be in training to receive finances for the Kingdom. You passion to help could be spilling over so strong that it’s gonna tip the bowl over in Heaven and God is gonna pour His finances thru your love. You’re being trained to be trusted like Joseph.

Thank you for sharing that. We should know Jesus enough not to pay for miracles. We should also seek Him to learn the mysteries of The Kingdom- like tangible results and the importance of obedient *sacrifice* . Reminds me of our current celebration, Purim- King Saul taking a few of the Amalekites animals when he was told to kill everything, just because he was too cheap to pay for his own sacrifices😂 Whyyyy did he think God would not notice?!
A healthy, righteous, rightly divided perspective is definitely needed in the Body.
Listen out to hear if that minister you mentioned has any other in-depth teachings on the money subject; and if there are arrested demons in those deliverances agonizing over those teachings and over the people sowing.

some not too many years ago, a ministet stood up during conference anf asked us all to give and said take ouy your $20.00 or hundred dollar bills to sow etc,. i wasnt offended but I really do.not like glazing words to fleece the flock to give so we will be blessed and there goes a lot of scriptures guilting people to give, but my heart felt iy removes people from hearing what God would have them give, everyone wave whatever amount of bill in theit hand before putting.in offering bucket. i really hate it, the whole meeting was hype up like that, it felt so much carnal then honoring God.
Its heart when you love the church and the teaching but when the money part comes its like an own preaching. You are hungry for God and you trust the leader that he has it from God. 😢 I always felt the manipulation. But when you are the only how have not the hand up with money and you dont receive the blessing prayer. Uhhhhhhhh.

Thank you. Oh man... my wounded heart received healing from this. It makes devils mad when you talk like this because he likes messing with people. I've seen... literally.. people spend the last money they had to an offering, but had no money to buy much needed shoes. I'm sure that sometimes God can ask us to have faith and do that, but I'm sure you get what I'm getting at. The poor... they'll give the food money for their children. Where is the glory to the Lord in that? I'm not against sowing. Sowing is fabulous... when you're doing it cheerfully and as led by HOly Spirit. Wow... we need God to expose this stuff... for the purpose of correction and restoring right attitudes toward money. It's a good thing. Be blessed.
Like the lady in the Bible that gave her 1 shekel and God honored her giving of the heart above everyone else who only gave out of their pocket to buy acceptance. Hey, maybe our last nickel and dollars that we’ve spared to share with God will be more remembered by God than we thought. Perhaps it paid for more material to build onto our Heavenly Mansion.

Manipulations is wrong!!! Charging for a miracle is witchcraft. However Paul says to be generous with those who teach the word of God. Jesus said the same too! Money is not ours we are stewards of it. God blessed us with jobs, business, health etc to make the money not to make our pockets fat but to bless ministries and those in need.
I tithe and give out of my love for the Lord and thankfulness.
