For the closed loop traverse in the diagram below, the direction from A to B is fixed at 270°. After the traverse has been computed and adjusted the bearing of the line 1-2 will change from 270° and the traverse will have to be rotated to bring it back to 270°. A swing angle is applied after the adjustment.

If the question doesn't mention the direct or included angle method,how can we know the appropriate method to use because I usually solve with direct elimination method,but sometimes while calculating all the value at last it doesn't match with correct bearing value,but same thing solving with included angle method I get the correct answer.
