I know this is a year old now but have you looked into starlink .they now do roaming covers all of Australia south of Bundaberg $135 a month unlimited for 5G speeds. They also now offer roaming for an extra $35 a month. New satelites being added all the time so shouldn't be long to cover North of Bundy
Thanks for sharing Sue. Those are some great insights, its definitely something we are planning (work and travel on the road) so its really helpful. After 5 days of work, it must be great to relax and enjoy where you are over the weekend. Keep the vids coming
Wow. I had no idea Sue worked full time. Your videography is excellent. Good luck for the dreams Derek. Very interesting Merry Christmas to both of you
Found this quite interesting. Needing wifi and power adds an extra difficulty in planning your travels especially in view that you want to find interesting and varied places to stay. Thanks for sharing your info, it helps understand more of your travels and why Sue is missing quite a bit. Keep up the great work.
Hang on! What was that in the coffee? Irish? Just came across your channel. Good to see someone doing the van life and working. Not sure what your situation is now, but have/did you consider Starlink RV for internet connectivity? Curious to know how that would work for a full time van lifer. Keep up the good work
Great info ... lots of challenges for you guys ... as we are hoping to do the same and work while travelling all your experience and knowledge is invaluable ... thank you xxx
Thank you so so much for this! I'm heading from Brisbane to Uluru and back in July and need to work via logging into my companys server (Citrix workspaces) and working via the server desktop, so I need good internet. Something new might come out by then, but if you've come across anything lately that works better please advise - or do a video! Thanks guys!
Great vid guys. We're about to start doing some longer travel stints taking our work with us, this has been helpful and has given us some things to think about, thank you. Great Ocean Rd, my neck of the woods. Look forward to seeing your upcoming videos on Vic and SA.
Thx Sue and Derrick - what a great episode. So interesting and helpful. I have a question. I am just starting my UA-cam channel and found that the upload speeds were incredibly slow (uploading HD at 30fps video) - it took 6 hours to upload a 15 minute video over wifi with 2 or 3 towers of signal! Do you have any tips or helpful info on how you upload your vids. Does it take you hours to upload too or am I missing something? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Stay safe and have a great Christmas 🎄🤙😀
Thank you 🙏 . In regards to uploads . I just upload in UA-cam 1080 HD . It takes about an hour or so and when the signal is bad it can take up to 3 hours ..
Sue & Derrick well done , Thanks for the year it’s been great little window into your travels wishing you both a merry Christmas and a fantastic new year with lots of new experiences.☕️ 12 Apostles end
Have you considered a caravan mount for the CelFiGo? I'm thinking of the installation just wary of the price. My supplier in Brisbane installs on a pool pole. He said it gets ariel 5m off the gound for best results. I'm sure you've already considered just thought I'd suggest.
Well done on getting 20000 thats an awesome effort😜🤪😝

Very informative! Sue you’re a champ, I’d struggle to stay motivated.
It’s definitely a challenge sometimes

Great episode. Does Sue feel like she misses out on any of the sightseeing while she works?
Yes she does . We do try and do all the sightseeing in the afternoons and weekends ..
Do you use a second monitor?

@@justvanningit Great idea, it would be helpful to get comparisons.
Have you tried with the Cel-Fi with an external directional yagi antenna on a 10-15 telescopic pole?
I haven’t yet tried it . Will look into it
Bring back the backwards hat Deryck 😉
