The best explanation I’ve heard for the boy on the horse in the MV was given by Roscoe, the reactor. Evidently, the first ever motion picture was in 1873 and is called “Horse in motion”. It’s very short and was commissioned by Leland Stanford, horse breeder and founder of Stanford University. Given the combination of JK’s interest in videography and this video being directed by Drew Kirsch, who also did Left and Right by Charlie Puth and Jungkook, it seems plausible to have an obscure reference like this showing something “in motion”.

I dont know if ANY other reactors caught that without googling the horse and film somehow stumbling on it, only film buffs wuld've gotten that reference on their own.
