This performance by Kieron Richardson is out of the freaking ballpark, its a home run. He really proved what a great actor he really is. Its really hard to watch this without getting shocked up. What he has to say to Brendan is so spot on, what a powerful declaration of love, the boy totally laid it all out. There should be no doubt left for Brendan as to how Steven truly feels about him. The love that Steven has for Brendan truly runs deep, very deep. Its was really hard to watch, I was all broken up. I can imagine that it was really killing Brendan inside to hear from Steven the depths of his love for him. but what could Brendan do? He couldn't just let Sheryl go to jail. Steven just couldn't let go, he fought hard against what he knew to be the final end. There wont be ever again characters like these two men on t.v. . These two are the measuring tape, they set a whole new standard. Steven Hay and Brendan Brady Rules !

In the past couple weeks, I have been able to discover and fall in love with Ste, Brendan, and the whole gang - a show that I'm actually quite happy that I got to binge-watch. Glad Emmett & Kieron got an award for their pairing, they were amazing together.
This storyline is one of the best Hollyoaks has ever created. Kieron Richardson is such a talented man, also Emmett J. Scanlan. The way they cooperate to make and produce the scenes is absolutely perfect. And by 'perfect' I mean how they get along. Kieron knows how to express the heartbreak emotions. And Emmett CHANGED HOLLYOAKS, from his very first scene. I feel that all the best actors/actresses left: Brendan, Cheryl, Jackie, Lindsey, Rhys, Doug, Leanne, Texas. Ste is the only one left. The moment Ste leaves Hollyoaks, the moment I'm done with the soap. All support to Emmett and Kieron, and Bronagh.
Good comment. For me, Warren keeps the show interesting for me as long as they give him good stories. Warren is one of the best characters that show has had,, but Brendan is the best character I've seen in any British soap. ES's acting was incredible.

That goodbye really made me choke up. I'm seriously crying buckets of tears. I hate how amazing HO is with making their storylines so compelling and emotional and the actors too. It really is amazing how the soap isn't as known as the top 3, when it is miles better. I can't imagine HO without Brendan, I do hope he comes back.

I am so happy that Brendan is alive. I died a little when Ste was talking to Bren at the hospital.. The last scene between them two.. sad but so beautiful. Brendans character has grown so much and changed into something we have grown to love. Thank you emmettscanlanfans for letting someone like myself see this beautiful story. I hope in the future we get to see Bren and Ste have a happy ending. I love that Amy came back with the kids.. Let Ste have some form of happiness..

Oh gosh.. I just discovered this few months ago. Because there's no school, no big events and it's not advisable to go outside since there is a global pandemic, i had many time to watch series and movies. I was attracted by the story line of Hollyoaks and I've been in love with Stendan ❤ now seeing the last scene breaks my heart i can't contain myself crying 😭 Ste dialogues with Brendan in Hospital is just so heart breaking 💔 anyway i would like to thank Emmettscallansfans for uploading this series and Even it's been 4 years since this release. I'm still living for stendan and i truly applause the two main characters Brendan and Steven for great chemistry and acting!
It was not a lonely tear, I've been sobering, really sobering so much that my mum came to make sure I didn't hurt myself. I'm still crying though. Oh my, that's just so basically sad! And Ste lines broke my heart in ashes of pieces. When he said he wouldn't live his life with people telling him he was better of when he's not! Oh! Why would Brendan end up in prison, it feels likes the bad guys won! Brendan ' s life is ruined anyway! It's not fair! !! Not fair! Not fair! However I'm sooooooo happy he didn't die, because even though I know there is not much chances, it means he can still come back somehow! It's a soap after all and anything is possible. If he had died it would have been the end for good. I will keep the faith and hope really hard that someday even if it is in years, Emmett Scanlan will have a little spare time to make an aparition. After all, John Paul came back after years. Oh, I feel so sad, because it is the end and because it's a sad ending. 😢😭

This scene want originally meant to happen and Emmet disagreed with shooting it, because he liked the cliffhanger ending but the Hollyoaks writers wanted him to have the choice to return if he ever wanted to. Thank goodness Ste got to say goodbye though!
I'm really glad that Cheryl has a happy ending. But, what I find difficult to handle, is the state in which she leaves Ste in, while riding off into the sun set. That bothered me. The last thing I wanted to see was her celebrating her new life of happiness, while Ste whole world is crashing down around him. For me, it made Ste situation that much more harder to deal with. Its the one part of this episode I find difficult to watch.
Yes, but with his children showing up he is not alone, he has something to build on. Remember, Cheryl told Ste one word from her and she'd go and tell the truth to the police. Ste is the one who told her to go.
I have watched this so many times and the acting is exceptional in this last part in particular. It makes me cry which is down to how well they all portrayed their characters and I'll always be devastated that they had to stop the storyline. 😩😭😭😭 Thank you so much for putting this together because we don't get this series is great. This was a dramatic story line with the good and the bad moments but in the end the characters really knew what love was even if they all went their separate ways I hope Ste will get his happy ending like Sheryl, but i think that's not going to happen soon since he has to mourn this mind boggling, life changing love he experienced with Brendan. I'm really upset about the way it ended but Kieron & Emmett were phenomenal
I found Stendan few days ago, more than 11 years after the end. Today I watch this, last one video of the story and, same as every fan of them I'm terrified... But it's a good thing, because it shows that the storyline was amazing. I wish they would live happy ever after but it ends how it ends. And to every Stendan fans: don't forget about them. Let them give that "in another life" in our minds, where they are happy and together till the end.

Powerful and emotional episode from beginning to end. But when Brendan tells Ste his never gonna feel different about him. That face, the emotion he portrays. Thank you Emmett Scanlan for bringing Brendan Brady to life. For making him feel like a real person.
I found Hollyoaks just 2 days prior to Emmett dismissal by accident too, and I'm from Italy we don't have Hollyoaks here xD But I'm glad I managed to catch up with all the episodes in that short time so that I could be part of the people that love this couple, and I agree with you: Stendan is the most beautiful love story ever, they're the LOVE. Looking forward to Brendan return.
I think if Brendan had died they'd have won best exit. I also think it would have let Ste move on more easily (though it would have killed Cheryl, but she was going to Ireland so it doesn't matter (within the context of the show). I think the writers chickened out. They're really hoping that Emmett Scanlan will come back and be Brendan again one day.
I remember following this storyline a couple years ago and it has been a roller coaster ride. I have enjoyed watching their storyline and hope Ste will be okay. Thank you so much emmetscanlanfan for doing this and for all your hard work. :)
Brendan did not deserve that. Emmett was perfect. Hollyoaks did not deserve him, nor did they do his character justice in the end- but having said that, his last scenes were beyond any soap caliber I have ever seen. Hats off to an incredible talent that I'm sure will go on to do much greater things than this show ever could have given him. Keiron was the only worthy match for Emmett's character and I'm infinitely glad that the writers saw fit to have them end up together, if not in a twisted, devastating way. Brendan Brady will never leave me. And I will never again be able to watch Hollyoaks. Shame, really.

Hollyoaks can tell me Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with Brendan getting released from prison for good behaviour and still in love with Ste. But that's just wishful thinking, isn't it? Well, a girl can dream. Sigh.

I feel gutted. Never have I felt so sad about a TV show. Then I realize it more than a show; it speaks to what love is for these 3 people. Not real or real, it still speaks to the heart of those who know a great love feels like & when it has been lost. It can't be replaced; it's always there with you. This storyline is what was needed for all to see & understand. I sit here writing this, because I know how it is to lose a love like Steven & Brendan shared & that between a sister and brother.

The way I see it - Emmet should agree to come back to shoot at least several episodes of Brendan coming back to Steven. But this can only happen if Kieron decides to leave the show. And they can both leave and live happily somewhere in Dublin. Please, after all these years I just need to know they are together and living their best life. Emmet, please, bring your fans some pure joy and satisfaction.

Yes! It's not possible! In this few months I found out that some couples that I thought were happily married, are not longer! Because the writers decides to reintroduce them, but never together or sometimes there is just one of them that come back and say "me and x are broke up so I come back there alone" .... this sucks.
There was this couple of days in Dublin they could love each other which is now the sense of life for Brendan and maybe also for Ste who must love Brendan furthermore deep down in his heart, through his development and his relationships with JP and Harry. Brendan Brady's destiny may sink in the crowd of millions, but even after his father destroyed his life, the story of Stendan and everything that happened in Hollyoaks town from 2010 to 2013, that time will never be forgotten.
I can't get over how amazing Kieron was in this episode. He captured the pain, the sadness, the devastation, the reality of how his life was changing, the love he had for Brendan. Even the small sweet moment when he told Brendan he was never gonna feel any differently about him. Two DAMN fine actors who really get it.

Dear, this year during quarantine and covida-19 i stumbled upon the story of Stendan & Hollyoaks on you tube channel. I looked at the story in its entirety. Let me modestly add that this is really the best gay-themed story for me personally. To this end, I believe that the new year 2021 is the right year for the key players of Hollyoaks to return. I have in mind Mr. Emmet J. Scanlan, Cheryl Tenbury-Newent as Cheryl Brady, Cheryl Tenbury-Newent and others and so you can start a new 3-4 year saga between love, crime. Of course this time with a happy ending to the story between Cheryl Tenbury-Newent & Emmet J. Scanlan. I understand that actor Emmet J. Scanlan has become a freshly baked dad and I sincerely congratulate him on this, but I believe that today Mr Emmet J. Scanlan is ready for a successful sequel - a return to Hollyoaks from prison .... And so it should be the story begins. I only ask that when the story starts again, you can publish it on the youtube channel, because we cannot watch the TV program Kanal 4 in Slovenia even after the Internet, because for reasons unknown to me the channel can only be watched in Ireland and Great Britain. I've been watching the whole Brendan and Steven (I'm always going to say Steven from now on) storyline over a week and I am so proud of both of them. Brendan has developed af and I love him so freaking much. I know that he will be okay in prison, I mean his a real badass and if anyone even tries to bring him down in there he'll show them who's the real boss. And I know that Brendan always will remember and love Steven as much as Steven loves him. I've never cried this much over a show so bravo Hollyoaks, I'm deeply impressed. And Emmett Scanlan needs a big thank you for his brilliant acting, for real, I'm speachless.

This scene want originally meant to happen and Emmet disagreed with shooting it, because he liked the cliffhanger ending but the Hollyoaks writers wanted him to have the choice to return if he ever wanted to. Thank goodness Ste got to say goodbye though!

I'm really glad that Cheryl has a happy ending. But, what I find difficult to handle, is the state in which she leaves Ste in, while riding off into the sun set. That bothered me. The last thing I wanted to see was her celebrating her new life of happiness, while Ste whole world is crashing down around him. For me, it made Ste situation that much more harder to deal with. Its the one part of this episode I find difficult to watch.
Yes, but with his children showing up he is not alone, he has something to build on. Remember, Cheryl told Ste one word from her and she'd go and tell the truth to the police. Ste is the one who told her to go.
That's why Steven is so messed up now later down after there was no more Brendan

I have watched this so many times and the acting is exceptional in this last part in particular. It makes me cry which is down to how well they all portrayed their characters and I'll always be devastated that they had to stop the storyline. 😩😭😭😭 Thank you so much for putting this together because we don't get this series is great. Thank you emmettscanlanfans for this wonderful journey you provided us with. This was a dramatic story line with the good and the bad moments but in the end the characters really knew what love was even if they all went their separate ways I hope Ste will get his happy ending like Sheryl, but i think that's not going to happen soon since he has to mourn this mind boggling, life changing love he experienced with Brendan. I'm really upset about the way it ended but Kieron & Emmett were phenomenal
I found Stendan few days ago, more than 11 years after the end. Today I watch this, last one video of the story and, same as every fan of them I'm terrified... But it's a good thing, because it shows that the storyline was amazing. I wish they would live happy ever after but it ends how it ends. And to every Stendan fans: don't forget about them. Let them give that "in another life" in our minds, where they are happy and together till the end.

Powerful and emotional episode from beginning to end. But when Brendan tells Ste his never gonna feel different about him. That face, the emotion he portrays. Thank you Emmett Scanlan for bringing Brendan Brady to life. For making him feel like a real person.
I found Hollyoaks just 2 days prior to Emmett dismissal by accident too, and I'm from Italy we don't have Hollyoaks here xD But I'm glad I managed to catch up with all the episodes in that short time so that I could be part of the people that love this couple, and I agree with you: Stendan is the most beautiful love story ever, they're the LOVE. Looking forward to Brendan return.
I think if Brendan had died they'd have won best exit. I also think it would have let Ste move on more easily (though it would have killed Cheryl, but she was going to Ireland so it doesn't matter (within the context of the show). I think the writers chickened out. They're really hoping that Emmett Scanlan will come back and be Brendan again one day.

Brendan did not deserve that. Emmett was perfect. Hollyoaks did not deserve him, nor did they do his character justice in the end- but having said that, his last scenes were beyond any soap caliber I have ever seen.
Hats off to an incredible talent that I'm sure will go on to do much greater things than this show ever could have given him.
Keiron was the only worthy match for Emmett's character and I'm infinitely glad that the writers saw fit to have them end up together, if not in a twisted, devastating way. Brendan Brady will never leave me. And I will never again be able to watch Hollyoaks. Shame, really.

They need to bring back Brendan for Christmas. At this point, I'm not even excited if Ste chooses John Paul or Harry for the Christmas episode. Hollyoaks can tell me Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with Brendan getting released from prison for good behaviour and still in love with Ste. But that's just wishful thinking, isn't it? Well, a girl can dream. Sigh.

I feel gutted. Never have I felt so sad about a TV show. Then I realize it more than a show; it speaks to what love is for these 3 people. Not real or real, it still speaks to the heart of those who know a great love feels like & when it has been lost. It can't be replaced; it's always there with you. This storyline is what was needed for all to see & understand. I sit here writing this, because I know how it is to lose a love like Steven & Brendan shared & that between a sister and brother.

The way I see it - Emmet should agree to come back to shoot at least several episodes of Brendan coming back to Steven. But this can only happen if Kieron decides to leave the show. And they can both leave and live happily somewhere in Dublin.
Please, after all these years I just need to know they are together and living their best life.

all of the soap operas and shows that I have watched, the gay couple never gets a happy ending. its just sad. And stendan will always be my #1!!! they need to bring Brendan (Emmett) back!!
Yes! It's not possible! In this few months I found out that some couples that I thought were happily married, are not longer! Because the writers decides to reintroduce them, but never together or sometimes there is just one of them that come back and say "me and x are broke up so I come back there alone" .... this sucks.

There was this couple of days in Dublin they could love each other which is now the sense of life for Brendan and maybe also for Ste who must love Brendan furthermore deep down in his heart, through his development and his relationships with JP and Harry. Brendan Brady's destiny may sink in the crowd of millions, but even after his father destroyed his life, the story of Stendan and everything that happened in Hollyoaks town from 2010 to 2013, that time will never be forgotten.
I can't get over how amazing Kieron was in this episode. He captured the pain, the sadness, the devastation, the reality of how his life was changing, the love he had for Brendan. Even the small sweet moment when he told Brendan he was never gonna feel any differently about him. Two DAMN fine actors who really get it.

this year during quarantine and covida-19 i stumbled upon the story of Stendan & Hollyoaks on you tube channel. I looked at the story in its entirety. Let me modestly add that this is really the best gay-themed story for me personally. To this end, I believe that the new year 2021 is the right year for the key players of Hollyoaks to return. I have in mind Mr. Emmet J. Scanlan, Cheryl Tenbury-Newent as Cheryl Brady, Cheryl Tenbury-Newent and others and so you can start a new 3-4 year saga between love, crime. Of course this time with a happy ending to the story between Cheryl Tenbury-Newent & Emmet J. Scanlan. I understand that actor Emmet J. Scanlan has become a freshly baked dad and I sincerely congratulate him on this, but I believe that today Mr Emmet J. Scanlan is ready for a successful sequel - a return to Hollyoaks from prison .... And so it should be the story begins. I only ask that when the story starts again, you can publish it on the youtube channel, because we cannot watch the TV program Kanal 4 in Slovenia even after the Internet, because for reasons unknown to me the channel can only be watched in Ireland and Great Britain.

I've been watching the whole Brendan and Steven (I'm always going to say Steven from now on) storyline over a week and I am so proud of both of them. Brendan has developed af and I love him so freaking much. I know that he will be okay in prison, I mean his a real badass and if anyone even tries to bring him down in there he'll show them who's the real boss. And I know that Brendan always will remember and love Steven as much as Steven loves him. I've never cried this much over a show so bravo Hollyoaks, I'm deeply impressed. And Emmett Scanlan needs a big thank you for his brilliant acting, for real, I'm speachless.
