Liz and Dennis, I love how you explain your days in your trip, just like two people on the journey of life and making friends! I love watching you two in your travels!
Best Panamá videos I’ve seen. We visited Panama City and Boquete in March. We loved it so much we went back in June. You’ve shown me so many new things to do, I’m planning our next trip.
We did an 8 day tour in Panama several years ago and the entire time was spent around the canal. I couldn't believe there was so much to learn about the canal and the area that would fill 8 days but there is. We also have a dear friend who is of Chinese descent but who grew up in Panama so she speaks fluent Mandarin and Spanish. She also acts as a Spanish interpreter for us in our neighborhood which creates some surprised looks from the Spanish speakers. It's fun to watch.
Great video. Some of the fried food like "tortilla", yuca, hojaldre, we eat them with with a meet with tomato sauce or onion steak. Also, some local white cheese. You can also eat the tortilla as you did with the small hojaldre with yellow cheese on top. You had a nice trip!
Thank you for this, very informative! We are headed to Casco Viejo for 2 days, Gamboa for a day and then Portobello for a week in 2 weeks. We can't wait.
My suggestion for vacation for Christmas is to go to the Philippines 🇵🇭 but go on Christmas week and stay until the 1st week of the New Year. But Christmas is celebrated in the Philippines 🇵🇭 starting in September up until the 1st week of the New Year
Wow! That's quite the celebration. We're not big on traveling over Christmas as it's busy most places! But we'd love to visit the Philippines in the future.
Thanks for the look into Panama. Sure it was a little of a pain to video with your family around. Definitely looked like Liz’s sister. You guys expected the sloth to be fast? Their name says it all. 😀
Fun fact: The architectural styles you observed in Casco Viejo can also be seen across many Latin American countries, as they have their origins in Cádiz, Spain..
wow! didnt know you guys were planning to go here. how awesome. brilliant shots of the Casco Viejo area! but in the canal info did you say Sue Canal in Egypt? it's SUEZ. SU-EZ! and wow, killer hotel at the end! Panama was on my list of places I wanted to get to this year but it just didnt work out. I bet it is hotter than hell there on the coast right now. I'm actually in San Crisobal de las Casas right now for the first time. what an incredible difference from landing in Tuxtla where it was like a sauna with mosquitoes everywhere in the middle of the day to San Cris where its like perfect spring weather with no humidity and no bugs everyday! I might just have to move here.
Hi! I've found your channel as I was searching for travelling in Mexico with an RV. Your video was helpful and encouraging as I was a little cautious to go to Mexico :) I was curious if you were planning to visit Columbia from Panama or any plans to visit South America!
We don't have plans for that at this time, but you never know where life my take us! We want to visit many more countries in the future. However, not in our RV.
Quick question, Im going to Panama late August until September 1st but visiting Panama City, Cinta Costera, Old Panama (maybe) and Casco Viejo (maybe) do I need to take a yellow fever shot as well as Thyroid shot since I'm an American and I reside in America? Because when I went to Costa Rica 🇨🇷 back last December last year I did not take any shots but just went to San José, Costa Rica 🇨🇷 only.
Panama City, or just Panama as it’s known locally, is only roughly the size and population of Portland, Oregon. It seems so much bigger because of the dense skyline. Panama has the 25th most dense skyline in the world. They call it the Manhattan of Central America.😊
can I ask what you did for carseats in ubers? I have two that use boosters and a 2 year old still rear facing. Do ubers act like taxis and not use any carseats?
You'll be pleasantly surprised at how well we speak, read, and write English. Not all the population, but a very sizable amount. Also, visitors soon find that there are many other languages spoken. So during your visit you probably will have the chance to hear Greek, Italian, Chinese, Arabic, among many others. Come and visit us, you'll have a fun time.
You colombians always get it wrong. Panama voluntarily joined the "Gran Colombia" (NOT COLOMBIA) at the same time Venezuela and Ecuador did. Venezuela and Ecuador saw the misery coming from miles away if they stayed as part of Colombia and decided to separate. When Panama tried to also separate Colombia, having a stronger army did not let Panama be its own country until 1903 when the US intervened. give it up already. Stop trying to change history.
You forgot to mention, that with Venezuela and Ecuador she voluntarily joined the Gran Colombia, when the other two left that union, Colombia retained her. She was poor, largely uneducated until she separated from Colombia, yes with help from the US. What she is today she would not have been if still associated with Colombia, would be no different from El Choco, plus the violence that characterized Colombia for most of the last century. Saludos paisa!
Panama is no onlh casco viejo, its probably a nice part but represent 2% of panama ,i live m11 hears in panama,as any country there good and bad part, but panamean people is realy nice, friendly and i loved to be in panama, litttle country were everybody new everybody, the bad part is the same than any country in the world,a little part of big family have all the money and live li,e millionaire and the rest of people is poor, politician are corupt and used there fonction just for personal interest, panama could be a paredise for his people if the benefit of panama canal will be distribued to people ,politician robe absolutly everything..but if you want to be in panama you can be very happy.
🙃 Not everyone knows what food from Panama looks like. Also, remember our channel name is EAT See RV. Food is a big part of travel to us and will continue to share it. If it's not for you feel free to find a travel vlog that doesn't show food. There's plenty to choose from.
Welcome to Panama 🇵🇦. Esperamos que regrese pronto, saludos desde Panamá 🇵🇦
Gracias!
Que lindo pronuncias el español... bienvenida siempre 😊
Liz and Dennis, I love how you explain your days in your trip, just like two people on the journey of life and making friends! I love watching you two in your travels!

Is it nice to go in march?
I really like the good vibes of the lady with glasses. She looks like a good person. All the best!😇👍🏼

That's awesome! It's a very multicultural area with lots of people from China and Thailand. So much to learn and enjoy there
Panama, especially Panama City, has a sizable Asian population. Panamanians are quite used to people of Asian descent speaking Spanish.
YIPPEE!!!!!! I've been crossing my fingers, arms, legs and eyes and hoping you 2 would do a Panama series!!!!
That's awesome!
Thanks for visiting Panama🇵🇦. Hope you liked it.
Come back soon!!!

That's awesome to hear all the ways it can be eaten. We did have a wonderful visit.
Thank you for this, very informative! We are headed to Casco Viejo for 2 days, Gamboa for a day and then Portobello for a week in 2 weeks. We can't wait.
I like how you always explain the places that you visit! I've always wanted to go to Panama, looks like fun!

Deep fried yuca is the best!!!
Fun fact: The architectural styles you observed in Casco Viejo can also be seen across many Latin American countries, as they have their origins in Cádiz, Spain..
Not surprising given the Spanish built these areas! 😆
Also, Casco Viejo has French style architectural from XIX century. 👍🇵🇦👀

Salamat po!
Only Panamanians understand the culture people and lifestyle
How did you travel around in the city ? Uber ?
Yes! We took a taxi once but it was more expensive by a lot

Eres colombiano supongo
