I am so endlessly captivated!! I would love to see machine learning AI to play eachother and all the crazy strats they would find, the crazy setups etc etc. SO much amazing stuff to learn from a good AI!!!
An excellent compilation of defensive info. I think I knew much of this, but it's far easier to see when everything is presented with good structure. Still, the hard part really isn't as much in knowing these rules, but execution. Given some time to think, all this is very logical. Unfortunately it seems that in practice I seldom manage to reach the right conclusions within the time window available. This game really needs a pause button =)
This video just screams reasons why WoW needs to cut support to add-ons that exploit PVP and by contrast, better telegraph the abilities in game for human responses to them. When no one is actually playing the game manually anymore, what's the point?

Trouble is, when you have shitty healers at low mmr using defensives is paramount. Can you put AI vs sub 1500 players?
Now we just need a A.I pvp developer team that can balance and improve the game on a daily basis with livetracking of stats, performances, trends etc.

Yes, its was already done with Starcraft 2. The AI was learning from thousands of hours of prof. gameplay.
