I'm sending you some tuition, sir! I wish it could be more, but alas, I'm a sucker stuck in the system who pays guys like you to do the jobs my professors should be doing! Since I go to a large engineering university, it goes without saying that I can't get a professor who is CAPABLE if teaching anyone out of a broom closet, let alone with the clarity of what you have just demonstrated here (again)! Thank you for being you, Michael. I'm gratefully inspired to understand all your videos, not memorize, and I can think of no one else on UA-cam with a gift for teaching the multitudes of disciplines on your channel. Keep the blooper reels coming, it helps the rest of us mere mortals feel slightly better knowing you're still human, and it all just requires some practice and a little effort! Keep it up, you are well appreciated. Bravo!

Thank you for your comment and for your support. We really appreciate it. This material is hard and yes it is hard for me as well and I often struggle to understand it. As I get older I have come to realize that if one sticks with the problem long enough we finally will understand it and we will enjoy the journey better if we don't let our frustration get to us. Keep up the hard work.

for the last part, where you found the phase angles that went along with the voltages, are all those angles measures from the horizontal X-axis? or are they with respect to the voltage or something else?

is there a mathematical proof of that method?

    • @MichelvanBiezen

mathematical proofs tend to be reserved for mathematical rules and definitions. With the laws of nature (physics) they are discovered through experimentation and trial and error. Once a relationship is found, an equation to match the relationship is developed.

@@MichelvanBiezen so, is that mean that this equations that you used in this video are discoverd not with math. equations but experimentally?

Que isso, véi? Olha só quanto calculo só pra achar uma impedância equivalente de um sistema em paralelo. Aqui é onde o filho chora e a mãe nao vê.

If it was easy, there wouldn't be any challenge to life. 🙂
