Great. I have about 9 pounds (I weighed them) of found pee cans (or is it pehcans) that I've been shelling after letting them air dry for about 3 weeks. I have a 10" cross bar or Groove Joint pliers. I watched this video and modified my technique to conform with the vertical pecan placement. I'm pleased with the results. Thank you. Of course you have buckets of them to process so the cinder block or brick method is a good choice.
Guitar song starting at 1:28 is used in other videos (one is about the great train chase in civil war). I learned to play it on guitar. Fun song to finger pick - I play as a end of set song in gigs. The pecan cracking techniques are interesting - thanks for posting.👍
Not sure on that... the shells probably weigh about the same. But it definitely be worth a shot. I just picked out the goods and slide the shells off the porch with my hand.
