I will never understand horror movies with the premise that a group of 4 or more able-bodied young adults are scampering around terrified of one normal dude. He doesn't even have a gun. All they have to do is stay together next to one of the big windows so there's light and wait for morning. He's not gonna try to bull rush the whole group - and even if he did, there's _four_ of them.
I remember a skit in How It Should Have Ended based on Scream where one of the girls screams out for help at a party and a bunch of people rush in and start wailing on Ghostface
Do you know what real fear tastes like? Sweat. Adrenaline. Metal. Your brain says run in terror, not stand your ground cool and calmly while planning out a detailed trap for your pursuer. They're a bunch of pacifist hippie protestors and he's blinded by hate and revenge for the death of his friend.
@@gmork1090 Yeah, "stay together in the light and wait for help" is neither detailed nor a trap. Your description of the taste of fear was very Apocalypse Now, though. So, at least you have that going for you.
I Saw the TV Glow is extremely good. The trailer doesn't really do it justice. The trailer suggests, lighthearted coming of age superhero dramedy. The reality is an exploration of self-destructive repression and depression that metaphorically cuts you open and scoops your guts out and leaves you emotionally devastated.
Yeah, it all feels pretty derivative. Like... did they make another Alien movie because they were passionate about the project and had a story to tell, or is it just a financial obligation to investors in the studio that owns the property?
@Myknight723 pretty spot on. Cage is a serial killer who has a fascination with Daddy Long legs ( hence the title) he infiltrates houses and families like one getting in a crack in the proverbial window. This ties into Dantes Inferno somehow and Satanisism.
Bro come on, movies are divided into genres based on similar attributes. If you only look at the surface level, things are very samey. Go check out susperia and spoorloos if you want to change it up but mainstream commercials aren't for you bub

I watched Terrifier 2, and I didn't vomit. You have to remember that it's just special effects makeup art, and it's not real. Reminding yourself of that while watching should quiet your tummy. If it doesn't, just watch through your fingers like my friend did.
