- The Henry Ford (also known as the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, and more formally as the Edison Institute) is a large indoor and outdoor history museum complex and a National Historic Landmark in the Metro Detroit suburb of Dearborn, Michigan, USA. Named for its founder, the automobile industrialist Henry Ford, and based on his efforts to preserve items of historical interest and portray the Industrial Revolution, the property houses homes, machinery, exhibits, and Americana. The collection contains the presidential limousine of John F. Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln's chair from Ford's Theatre, Thomas Edison's laboratory, the Wright Brothers' bicycle shop, and the Rosa Parks bus.

When I was a kid in 1953 my family took a trip to Michigan to see my Uncle and his family. We all went to Dearborn village. I will never forget it. I would love to go back and see it again. As a kid it was like going to Disneyland but I think it was better. I am 74 now and it looks the same as then. This is worth seeing if you are ever there.
I live 5 minutes away and it's really nice there still
Gracias gracias gracias Maestro for magnificent legacy
I went here years ago and it is still a must visit. Go to this living museum you will be thrilled.
Another reason why I adore the blue oval company!

It is!
I live in Ocean City Maryland so I’m very far away but I’ve been twice and it’s unbelievable I think anyone interested in cars or not would enjoy it at least one time it’s totally amazing
That’s for sure!
Its good to have a museum that teaches the importance of steam engines, the early way of life. Its healthier ways of mechanical engineering wherein it is powered by water. S.M.Es.......General practices....
O went there today for a field trip and the musiem it's great
The history of Greenfield Village is so rich. I'm surprised Hollywood isn't interested in using it as a popular filming location for period films.
They did. Vamps (2012) with Alicia Silverstone &Krysten Ritter.
I remember back when you didn't have to wear a mask, and when you smiled, people saw you smile...yep...I remember...
