Wasn't there an issue with all of the cars GPS systems causing these issues? I don't think any if the teams were able to see where their opponent's cars were on the track.

We've also had formats since the creation of the world championship where it was impossible to have traffic e.g. 2003 to 2005 where there was one lap (2005 was two across two different sessions) for each driver Plus quali is completely different as it's easy to predict when a driver is going out e.t.c. rather than in practice where there's 12 cars out there we don't know if they're coming in or how fast they're going to be going or if other cars will be going out as well

The Aston didn't seem to be in the worst spot, the red bull though...I know the gps system had an error, but just seems like a very-in-the-way place to be

They rely too much on the teams telling them what to do, when on a slow lap drive off line and use their, larger for this year, mirrors.
