    Does the forward assist automatically turn back on when engine is newly started?

      I'd like to know this as well... I've only owned mine for a few weeks but it's almost killed me twice by abruptly braking in the middle of the highway after I've made a lane change.

    Turning it off doesn't work when using cruise control. Mine is broken and brakes when there are no cars in sight.

      That’s the smart cruise, not FCA. You can turn on smart cruise in the settings as well

      @@akshayvaidya9958 Well, I had smart cruise ON at about 108kph and the dash suddenly showed "Collision warning" and brakes fairly agressively. Pretty sure that's FCA.

      @@SlipAngleG70 oh, might be an electric issue cause mine doesn’t do that. You should get that checked out.

    This system is kinda dangerous. Maybe don't use it if it is snowing/raining. Mine slammed on the brakes and threw up a warning multiple times when no one was in front of me in poor weather conditions.
