You may have the wrong slot engaged - take off the wheel, check which size wire you are using & make sure you have the drive-wheel on the correct way round for that wire size. Usually, just flipping it around works as there's only 2 size slots.
Anyone know how to tell when they come in stock here I Ireland or how many times a year they come around I cant seem to find these for this cheap if u look there being resold for around 100€

The correct sound it should make when welding correctly is one of frying bacon .... 'listen and learn' is the order of the day.

The pulley that feeds the wire for welding just glides over the wire on mine. I've tried different tensions but nothing helps. Any suggestions?

Hi mate, it's not a MIG welder. It doesn't use gas, it uses flux cored wire.
