Dayara Bugyal is a famous winter trek in India. The nearest village and the starting point of this trek is Raithal village, which is located in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. Dayara is famous for its vast expand of medows and towering 360 degrees view of the Gangotri range.
It is one of the largest expand of meadows in the country and it is an easy-moderate level trek, which can be done by person of any age group.
I did this trek with ‪@Indiahikes‬ on January 1,2024. The fees for this 5 day trek was Rs 10K. But it was worth every penny because of the experience that Indiahikes offered to all the trekkers from food to hygiene.
Trekking Dayara have me a rejuvenating start to the year, and filled me with empathy and gratitude to Mother Nature. The views I captured on this trek will stay with me until I go again with a clean slate and make more paintings.
