How do you keep water out of the chain locker in high seas? It doesn't look like there is any way to make it watertight. In an ocean storm it would probably just fill up with water and cause buoyancy and maneuverability problems.

Thanks for asking! The anchor locker drains above the water line through side covers which are designed to suck out every liquid with force if the boat is moved forward. So, yes, there is some water getting in through the locker hatch and slot for the anchor but it´s sucked out very fast again. The moment you are in calm water it drains just by gravity. Many of this boats have been on extended blue water journeys and this have never been an problem for me or reported as a problem

Can the boat go into light icy waters as well? Or is it better to have aliminium boats for that?
