But what this shows is a failure of our democratic institutions. The countries which handled this pandemic the worst (US, India, Brazil, etc) all for some reason have a far right and conservative Governments. Our democratic institutions must have been stronger to avoid such demagogues from getting elected in the first place. Neither Hindu nor Hinduism is a sanskrit word.
"Hind , Hindi , Hindu" these sword were told to recognise the people beside Sindhu river . All these names were giver by Persians and Arabians.
Even 'Hindustan' is a complete Persian word. It the suffix 'stan' was given seeing the countries like Uzbekistan , Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan etc....
Hindu is not the name of nay religion. The word Hindu is neither in any religious book like Vedas , Geeta , Puranas , Sastra etc.
The name of the religion is SANATAN DHARMA , not HINDU. This name was given by Persians.
So sad, none of the Hindu people know about their own religion name
Well, word like Sanatan Dharma is also not mentioned in our scriptures. Because in our civilization, Dharma is Righteous conduct , not religion .And Artha( Commerce), Kama(Sensuality) and Moksha(Salvation) are also considered equally important as Dharma.
